Ugh… my throat feels so sore. It’s hard to swallow. I removed the cool pad off my forehead and groggily opened my eyes. I feel better now than last night. The curtains were closed. Did he close it? I like it when the sunlight is beaming my face. I removed the blanket off my body and dragged my feet towards the curtains. I opened it wide with my eyes close and felt the warmth once more.

When I opened my eyes to see the nice weather, a guy shocked me. He’s at the veranda of the apartment. He’s balancing himself at the slim metal railing of the veranda wearing this bright smile just like the sun. His smile is very warming, his eyes were big.

Who is this guy looking at me?! He waved at me. He’s just like Peter Pan a playful side of Peter Pan is showing.

I closed the curtains again with my eyes wide and my heart beating incredibly fast. No, it’s not Baekhyun. Baekhyun’s not smiling at me like that. And he looks so different from Baekhyun. Okay, Eun Joo, deep breaths.

Slowly and surely, I slightly opened the curtains and peered by the small space. Oh, he’s not there anymore? I opened the curtains widely and saw the empty veranda. “Wow, that was so creepy.”

Just as I closed the curtains again, afraid I might see that guy again, I heard someone opened the refrigerator and the sound of the ramyuns being opened. It’s Baekhyun. He’s going to cook ramyun for breakfast? He told me he’s not going to let me eat ramyun again.

“Baekhyun, I saw a weird guy at the veranda awhile ago…” my voice trailed off when I saw a guy eating by the dinning table. His hair color is different from Baekhyun and his physique is different from him too. My heart dropped, because I know Baekhyun will not eat if I’m not awake and he’s the one who’s always looking at me before I wake up.

The guy who is eating the noodles spun around and to my shock, it’s not really Baekhyun. Instead, it’s a different guy. “Who are you?!” I yelled so loud I felt like something just scraped inside my throat.

He’s the guy I saw at the veranda awhile ago. How did he get inside?!

The big eyed guy swallowed the noodle he’s chewing and cheerily smiled at me again. He’s so adorable but no, Eun Joo. You can’t be deceived by a guy adorable looking like him. “Hi, I’m Do Kyungsoo.”

“It’s Do Kyungsoo. Kyungsoo...” He corrected me, emphasizing the K in his name and like he heard my thoughts as well just like Baekhyun. W-Wait, a minute, “You’re one of the demons?” I pointed a finger at him and he jumped off the stool and walked closer to me.

I froze in my spot as he leaned in really close to my face while biting at the hard noodle. “What are you doing?!” I tried to look away but he held my chin and pulled it down putting a cracked noodle to my mouth. I blinked at his weirdness.
