It's been a while and I blame myself for this, I never know working a office work can be such a pain in the neck and it very naive of me to think that office working will make you secure and everything, so I left my simple online business...and what I got just small amount of payment even though it stable well since I'm just working, it's acceptable but the headache from the work the boss the peers and the regulation...it really sick, working like robot because we are not allowed to touch our phone and must working even though there's no work to be done...

Well, just hang in there!! Right?! Hang in there!!

Anyway, thanks for hearing my rant again so please enjoy the chaper that I just manage after sorting many things happen in my brain (I blame my office work, most of it)! Enjoy and thanks for still be patient with me!!!

The party or event of the socialite really full of glistering things and also too bright with luxury, every woman bring their kids and now busy with their makeup, they even provide very professional makeup artist for this event. With all paparazzi and camera blitz, of course make this event as very eye-catching event but what make it more eye-catching is the entrance of Kwon.

Jessica walking with her very expensive dress and very eye-catching hairstyle with Yuri beside her, at receptionist when Yuri appears they become very stiff and immediately allow Yuri to join the event, even without asking the invitation. They just allowed Yuri and Jessica to enter it without even asking anything, they even bowing for them and treat them as loyalty.

Why invitation card?

Because Jessica not the official Kwon madam yet and of course that’s mean she’s still ‘stranger’ of Kwon family and not the mother of Kwon Yuri, of course as Jessica accompany Yuri need invitation card to enter the event unlike the other guest with their own daughter or sons so there's no need invitation card for their childern. That’s not a problem for Yuri since she own that invitation card, Clara give her one and yet they let Yuri and her enter the event immediately.

Clara about to wave her hand elegantly to Yuri, but suddenly Yuri turn her head before she manage to see Clara waving to her, she turn to see behind her with her usual smiles. Jessica appears and standing beside Yuri.

From afar everyone could see how Yuri face broke into smile, slightly wider than her normal smiles. Only slightly wider and they also witness how Yuri whispering something or talking in very close distance with Jessica, Yuri even trying to matching with Jessica pace while walking. This is of course something for every single soul, something new.   

Yuri never ever appears with Jessica, alone or rather only two of them so that’s why some assume Yuri hate Jessica because Jessica will marry Boa.

This kind of story become very famous gossip about Kwon household and even some rumor about making this gossip into some kind of drama.

Of course Jessica is very nervous because this is the first time for her to join this kind of event without Boa accompanying her and only Yuri with her, the way Yuri just say yes to their request over the phone make Boa even more suspicious but standing here with Yuri somehow make her felt content and so comfortable.

Jessica know what this event all about since Taeyeon kindly briefing for her, every socialite will pose on camera to get their picture taken. They and their family picture will be feature on that magazine, Jessica probably will too.

But what she really didn’t expect is how extravagant this event, red carpet with so many camera blitz complete with the reporter and clearly this beyond her imagination. When Yuri step in the red carpet, the camera blitz become so blindly. Yuri really make her entrance so grand even all she did is just walking and now with Yuri walking beside her, Jessica now showered with blitz from their camera and it makes her felt almost like a superstar.

Jessica almost asking Yuri out loud when they walking on the red carpet, did your eyes okay? Because with so many blitz flashing on her eyes but Yuri still smiling like nothing meanwhile Jessica really want to wear her sunglass.

But seeing how Yuri keep smiling and even slightly nodding her head with ease without even bothered by camera blitz, I guess this is her place so she really get used for this…yes, this is her place and very different with me…

Just be very careful with her!! That what Taeyeon warned her and Jessica believe that Taeyeon didn’t mention about Yuri since Taeyeon really trust Yuri so much but about certain person.

Just like what Taeyeon guess, Clara ‘kindly’ offer Jessica to pose it first, as example for them. Of course Jessica very confuses because she never do this kind of things before so she planning to watch everyone before her as example first but Clara just have to offer her to be the first. She can’t refuse this since everyone will get suspicious on her if she dare to refuse, she must pose it alone since she didn’t have any kids and she’s not Kwon yet.

Just when she thought she will get humiliated by them, Yuri just following her to photoset with her usual smiles. Jessica very confuses with Yuri that following and yet Yuri just smiles to Jessica as her answer for unasked question, Yuri even fix her own blazer casually. 

“Yuri, what are you doing? This is not our turn yet!” Clara gritted her teeth and glaring at Yuri, since she want to pose with Yuri because with Yuri achievement it will give her some boost and throw some dirt on Boa face. With Yuri, she will easily overshadowing every socialite since Yuri is perfect at anything that everyone could hope for.

Even when Yuri didn’t bring her trophy or anything, even by standing behind her, Yuri will give her boost to anyone to everyone.

“Future madam Kwon is here” Yuri turns to face Jessica and still with her smiles, she guide Jessica to face her. She is whispering to Jessica so just Jessica could hear her, “Follow my instruction, first put your left elbow on my shoulder and left hand under your chin. Right hand on your hips after that looks at camera, and don’t smile just look at camera with fierce eyes!”

After Jessica pose with Yuri first instruction, Yuri standing close with Jessica and she crosses both of her hand on her chest, she also looking at camera with her stoic face. Of course Jessica is beauty girl but she sure what make people swoon is Yuri face. Kwon Yuri face really handsome and not only her handsome face but her eyes too. The way her eyes look straight at camera really so charismatic and Jessica so tempted to ask her picture from photographer.

Yuri then turn to face camera directly, put both of her hand inside her pocket and slightly parted her leg. “This time, put your left hand on my right shoulder near collarbone area. Your right hand on my left shoulder! Just glance at camera!” still whispering toward Jessica.

“Last pose!!”

Yuri nods to Jessica, “My future mother want to use props for her next pose, please bring us one good white couch!”

While Jessica is sitting at that luxury couch, Yuri just standing behind Jessica and helping Jessica with her hair, slowly whispers to Jessica. “Confident and sharp, that’s the key”

Not only photoshoot but also there’s party after that and unfortunate this party is standing party, because she wear heel and standing far too long, her leg begin hurting again and Yuri that standing beside her just smiling while looking Clara that waiting for her turn. Yuri knows that her mother mood really sour and might in brick of exploding but she still manage to hide it.

Her mother so pissed because Jessica manage to stole all spotlight from her ever since Jessica arrival, worse part is Yuri help Jessica to stole it from her. Now her grand photoshoot will look so lack compare with Jessica.

Yuri slowly felt something holding her arms and she turn her head to see Jessica timidly holding her hand and she look so apologetic. From her posture alone, Yuri know that Jessica leg begin to hurt again but Yuri just turn her head to see her surroundings and she pose her arms so Jessica could put her arms more comfortable.

When Jessica holds Yuri arms, she felt so secure and save from every eyes that looking at her. Jessica is really thankful with Yuri simple gesture that allows her to holding her arms for support. Since she enter this event, all eyes watching her like predator eyes that reading to devour her and she’s very confuse why they keep looking at her like this. She never felt so protected even when she with Boa, when she’s holding Yuri that predator eyes mean nothing and that sharp glare from Clara mean nothing, nothing that could scare her now.

Of course she scare of Clara, this is the first time she meet Clara and yet, Clara looks like she ready to beheaded Jessica even by her glare. She admits that Clara really y and oozing with glamour luxury that make her look so intimidating, since Yuri resemble Clara at intimidating division. Jessica happens to seen Clara picture, her eyes really fierce but today exceptionally sharp.

Did she angry because I’m with her Yuri?

This actually because she’s holding Yuri hands that make Yuri couldn’t help Clara on her photoshoot. The way Jessica holding Yuri hands as if prohibits Yuri to go anywhere and as if to monopolize Yuri from her, Yuri own mother.

What make it worse is the way Yuri smiles as if that’s nothing. Yuri didn’t even pay any attention nor any glance toward Clara, she act like Clara didn’t even there.

Slowly Jessica turns her head so she could see Yuri expression. Even all Yuri does is just standing there with cocktail on her hand with simple smiles on her lips and all eyes that want to pounce and mince Jessica are slowly cowering back, they didn’t even dare to look at Jessica with their predator eyes again. Maybe this is just her feeling or just mere suggestion, but Jessica really grateful that Yuri allow her to holding her arms.

Just when Jessica thought Yuri won’t speak with her, “I guess standing will make people looking more charming” Yuri slowly turn her face to see Jessica. Of course Yuri knows the reasons why everyone looking at Jessica with that kind of envy or enrage eyes and she does notice this eyes.

One simple reason is Jessica stole all attention from them, just like this moment the way Jessica holding Yuri arms make majority photographer and paparazzi divert their attention to Yuri and Jessica, instead of them. Even at the photoshoot the photographer pleading them to take couple more picture of them which Yuri declines the offer.

Even by standing casually they already took many attentions toward her, even by standing alone these two already like doing photoshoot together in grand background with full of CG.   

“Huh? Oh! I’m okay…” instead of smiles of assurance, Jessica just wince in pain and her hips begin to hurt now.

Yuri guide Jessica to exist area toward their parking area and confusedly Jessica following Yuri still holding Yuri arm, she really confuse why Yuri want to leave because the party not over yet and they say to her Yuri like this kind of event. What worse is Yuri just leaving in the middle of Clara photoshoot.   

“Yoobin-unnie wants to see you” and Yuri open her car door for Jessica, obediently Jessica enter the car and Yuri just drive Jessica to Yoobin hospital.

Yuri is at her usual lounge and playing billiard by herself. But before she could hit her cue ball, someone snatches it from her and yet Yuri knows who this person, since the smoke from her cigarette really strong and somehow manages to hurt Yuri eyes. For additional, even without her brilliant brain she know that this person really angry since this person just smash her ball to the ground.

There’s goes my money to fix that floor.

Yuri driver and also personal bodyguard that already worked as long as butler Yoo for Yuri, Driver Kim want to stop Clara and protect Yuri from extreme things that Clara might done to Yuri. Before he could move, Yuri already stop her with smiles and shakes her head slowly. 

“Morning” Yuri say her greeting as casual as ever, albeit ignoring the atmosphere around them especially around Clara and this of course throwing fuel into burning pit action.

“Just what are you think you’re doing?!!!”

Yuri slowly standing straight and throwing her smiles at fuming Clara, her mother just finished drinking and smell of alcohol not only from but also her clothes. Instead of being scare with Clara, Yuri just smiles at ease.

“I ask you for your answer not for your smiles, what are you doing defending her like that? Trying to play a hero to earn some favor for buying your way in to their side? Trying to her money too? Are you on their side now?!”

Yuri slowly chuckles and even put her usual pose while chuckling, she rest her billiard stick at her side. “It’s not my intention”

Clara just throwing magazine to Yuri chest and Yuri just smiles, took the magazine and looking at the front cover. It’s not her mother picture like always and usual but someone else, someone that took entire front cover by herself. But before she could read the headlight, Clara yank the magazine away and light her lighter to burn the magazine.

She holding the burning magazine up close to Yuri but that didn’t even make Yuri flinch but she indeed prepare for the worse by Clara temper.

Yuri just prepare for the worse, with fire sprinkle. Because in a second that magazine burns, the fire sprinkles already raining on them, for dramatic effect. Yet, even with very wet clothes and also hairs, Yuri is still smiling like idiot.

“You already shame me with the way you act toward me on that party, the way you stood on her side and even leaving the party when I’m still doing my photoshoot!!! You already disgrace me so much!!! You know that much and you keep doing that, are you testing my patience?!!”

Yuri just smiles with Clara outburst and Clara leaving the part that she want to humiliated Jessica in front of everyone, making everything look Clara is the victim. But Yuri didn’t say anything to correct Clara and she’s just waiting for second wave of outburst.  

Clara almost slap Yuri when she seen this smiles, this kind of smiles will poke on your nerve and patience because this smiles really horrible beyond annoying. “Answer me!!! Are you want to make fun of me?!!”

Yuri slightly wipes her wet face and she rests her hand on her cheek, tilt her head too. As if she pretends to think hard for the answer and after few second of thinking, “Hm, I wonder why? It’s all according to plan”

Clara had enough of Yuri act and answers that not really answering her question and just run in circle with that kind of answer. Clara put her hand on Yuri shoulder and her sharp nails grazing dangerously at Yuri cheek.

That expensive and yet so extreme manicure getting so close to Yuri cheek and at her neck, that manicure have very pointy star and it made from gold, though that’s not the case since that manicure is sharp like claw.

As clear warning for Yuri, Clara didn’t even smiles when she’s doing this and really serious at her warning to Yuri and yet Yuri still smiles with this dangerous gesture. The only person that worried about Yuri is Driver Kim.   

“I warn you, Kwon Yuri! If you dare to turn your back on me for them just because you realize how much money that foxy have, I will do something to your inheritance plan because I have power to do that and turn everything into mine, I can do that!! Since I will teach you things that you should know!!”

Yuri smiles slowly lessen but Clara notice this, smiles because she manage to poke Yuri nerve. “Not just your future inheritance but what you own now, I will ruins your inheritance and everything that you will get if we succeed. Every single thing that you already planned!! Believe me I got the power to do that because I’m still your mother!! So, don’t get your head to big and arrogant!!”

Yuri smiles still there but her eyes begin to changes, not the shape but the way she look at Clara, just slightly change. Clara notices this eyes mean just give Yuri smug smiles, “Even without your help, I can win that case alone! Even without you, I will win it from Boa!! You are the one who need my help for your inheritance!! Remember that! You are the slave here! You are nothing without me! You are the one who need my help, not me who need your help!! Or do you want to taste it again?!”

The grip on Yuri shoulder because very hard and somewhat felt so bone crushing, Clara just looking at Yuri with very sharp eyes. “Start it first with, watch the way you speaking! Future madam Kwon?! There’s no of it!”

After she finished her words, Clara make scratch on Yuri neck near jaw area. I guess the scratch deep enough to cause it to bleed since the sharpness can be compare with razor sharp but the wound not that deep enough to leave some mark on it. It’s bleeding because Clara sharp nails and force that she put into it while making scratch mark on Yuri but Yuri just smiles even after those insults being thrown at her.

“Couple days again, I will invite that y fox for auction event and you will obey me!!” Clara glaring at Yuri then just leaves her.

Driver Kim is rushing to Yuri with dry towel and processed to dry Yuri hair from the water and some maid prepare umbrella for Yuri. When he notice the blood on Yuri towel, he quickly as for first aids since the wound doesn’t close yet and he scare this scratch will left mark on Yuri face.

Yuri looked down at burned magazine, despise being burned but she still manage to see the cover. “What a troublesome…”

She knows that Yuri wouldn’t really like it if she playing on Yuri territory and after all reaction from maids when she asked if Yuri homes yet, she knows it but she must to see Yuri. What more, after talking with Gyuri about her recent picture on every rich ladies favorite magazine, she really need to speak with Yuri as fast as she could.

Jessica open Yuri door, a door that she never open before and clearly not door that lead to wine cellar. She open the door without knocking first and there’s Yuri standing looking at something, when the door open by force which so unnecessary and it cause the expensive door almost flying, she’s just looking at Jessica with her own smiles.

Jessica then realizes this room is Yuri achievement room, everything that stores in this room is trophy, award, and little bit picture of Yuri outstanding achievement. Jessica really want to admire this room longer because this room cooler than that wine cellar but she remember the purpose she comes to meet Yuri not for ogling something.

“Yuri-ssi!”

Quickly Jessica went to Yuri but when she’s near Yuri her leg gives up because she runs to get in this room and it seem her leg condition getting worse, when she about to fall Yuri already holding her arms to prevent Jessica from falling.

With her left arms Yuri hold Jessica arms and she didn’t even give any surprised expression when Jessica about to fall, she just smiles the same smile she gives to Jessica when Jessica suddenly open her room door.

Jessica wants to say thank you to Yuri but before she could open , the pain attack her whole body.

Yuri didn’t say anything but just looking at her while holding Jessica arms, she make Jessica standing straight but looking at how Jessica leg gives up and how pale Jessica face, how she trying so hard to holding back her pain or tears, hissed instead of scream in pain, and how Jessica unable to say anything. Yuri just bring Jessica to her couch.

Jessica completely rest her body into that expensive couch and just looking at Yuri back, she’s searching for something. She can’t really focus on anything right now because the pain. Her vision suddenly got blurred by her tears, every time when the pain coming she want to cry.

Yuri returns with some kind of cream and then she sit beside Jessica, still smiling she taps empty spot on her couch. Jessica really confused with Yuri action, looking at unresponsive Jessica at her gesture Yuri just smile and standing in front of Jessica.

“It’s very bad of me, that posture not really appease to you, am I right?” Yuri just smile, “Should I down in one knee to asking your permission? I should!”

Quickly Jessica move to stop Yuri from kneeling, when she grab Yuri hands her legs begin to hurt again with this sudden movement and she nearly cry because of unspeakable pain. But she manage to shakes her head and tugging Yuri to sit beside her. The pain comes again and she holds Yuri hand tighter, trying to find anything to help her to ease the pain.

Yuri is just looking at her hands, where Jessica still holding her hands for comfort. Yuri just let out smirk for second before her lips return to her usual smiles and slowly her eyes return to Jessica.

Yuri just makes Jessica turn around while her hand still being holds by Jessica, carefully she open Jessica dress zipper. “This cream used by professional athlete” and Jessica know what Yuri mean by that which is this cream is very expensive and you need to pay me back.

It’s not that she can guess every Yuri words but Boa told her, when Yuri speak something you need to think or take it as sarcastic way of her speaking or negative kind of words, never take Yuri words as raw as it.

Yuri said while took very clean cotton and she finished apply the cream in very quick motion. “Finishes, but let’s make it dry first!”

Yuri must admits the burn wound really bad and no wonder if Jessica always get leg pain because Yuri know the burn not only at her back but maybe at her hip too.

They just stay silence, mainly because Jessica still in pain and the cream took some moment for working on the wound. Yuri just sit there with leg crossing like gentlemen and close her eyes, she just rested her eyes for a moment.

When her pain subside Jessica turn her body while holding her dress to keep covering her shoulder and chest area, slowly she let go of Yuri hand and when she let go of Yuri hands, slowly Yuri open her eyes. Yuri didn’t say anything but looking at Jessica face and still smiling like usual.

Jessica notices the wound on Yuri neck and jaw, when she about to touch it Yuri flinched and she’s so cautious on Jessica approach. But Jessica could care less about Yuri reaction, “What happen to…” slowly she touched Yuri skins near the wound.

Looking at the wound, it seem the scars still fresh and she know person like Yuri will never hurt her own face by accident or not, so she know this is not Yuri own carelessness. “Is this because of me?”

“It seems I got sudden amnesia?” Yuri answer Jessica question while tilted her head, Jessica know it’s very dangerous to look at Yuri in the eyes because Yuri eyes very clear and she could see her own reflection on Yuri eyes, this likes hand that grab someone in instant. By looking at Yuri eyes, Jessica found it was her favorite things to do now.  

Jessica shakes her head and her hand still on Yuri neck, “No…it’s not that Yuri-ssi, I mean…is this because of me that make your mother angry at you? Did I give you lot of trouble?”

She heard it from Gyuri and even Yoobin, when those two see the said magazine they suddenly let out very big sigh. “That kkam will get into trouble with our mom because of this magazine…soon!” Gyuri said while showing the magazine to Jessica.

Yoobin peering to see the cover again, the magazine cover decorated by Jessica face alone without Yuri. “Because she didn’t even get her face on the cover and the portion of her photoshoots just two with small size unlike last time!”

Yuri just chuckles when she heard Jessica explanation and gracefully get up and walking toward one of her trophy shelf, as if she want to broke the skinship with Jessica. Yuri turns to face Jessica with her usual smiles and Jessica notice that Yuri always smiles no matter what, smiles. “This and that, wonder and question”

Yuri looking at Jessica and then her watch, as if she counting suddenly Boa appears looking as sharp as ever and Yuri just looking at Boa in amuse kind of smiles because Boa will never step on this room and if Boa could, she want to burn this room to the ground. Even she might want to burn Yuri along with it, that Yuri own joke anyway.

“You!”

Looking at Jessica state, Boa face mixed with horror and anger before she could punch Yuri without knowing anything Yuri just raised her hand and showing the cream alongside her casual smiles and waves to Boa.

Without manage to say thank you and apologize or even hearing Yuri reasons for those scars, Jessica already dragged by Boa. “Let’s go! It’s very dangerous to let you stay with her longer than this! She will gives you trouble and only trouble that she have beside poisons!!”
