Cravings

Yoona sighed and shifted in her shared king size bed. Tonight, sleep was not her friend. She had turned off the lights two hours ago and she was not even the slightest sleepy. Her stomach groaned in protest for some late night snack.

"Changmin," she called out her husband's name quietly into their pitch black bedroom. When she received no response, she tried again with an added shove.

"What?" He moaned out deliriously.

"Wake up, I'm hungry." She rubbed her belly even though he couldn't see it.

"In the morning, baby." He mumbled and turned to face against his wife.

"Changmin oppa." She cooed softly, knowing that would get him to wake up. He shifted himself back to face her. Yoona smirked in triumph and the night stand light. They both blinked a couple times trying to adjust to the brightness. "Will you get me some mint chocolate chip ice cream and some kimchi, please?" She requested nicely.

"Can't you wait in the morning?" He squinted his eyes at her, slightly pouting, begging her to wait in the morning.

 The small smile on her lips dropped as her eyes welled up with tears. "No I can't, I'm fat, my ankles are swelled up, I haven't had a decent meal without puking my guts out since who knows how long, and our baby won't let me sleep. Don't you think I deserve a little treatment for going through hell to bring our baby into this world?"She glared at him, daring him to say no.

Changmin gulped, "Let me put on some clothes then I'll go to the mini mart okay." Yoona nodded happily in return. All signs of her previous mood swing was gone. Pregnant women are scary, Changmin concluded. They could be jumping up and down in joy one second, and then crying in next if you accidently said the wrong thing. Let's just say she wasn't the only one looking forward to when the baby would come out.

On his way to the mini mart he could almost imagine his friend, Kyuhyun, being there. Staring at him mockingly, "and the almighty Shim Changmin falls at the feet of Im Yoona, dude you're so whipped."
