Foreword

- Sneak Peak

Even though SungYeol was there, he was deaf to the woman’s whines. Yes. He was tired of it. Every single relationship, every single time, they all ended the same way. Why? There seemed to be no real answer, but it still bothered SungYeol to the core of his bones. Women were just way too complicated for his already complicated self. Two complicated people in one equation was too much for the young man to handle. It had to stop and the only one who could give it a stop was SungYeol himself. So he rose from the chair and without any warning, he started to walk to the bar leaving the reproaching woman on her own. Adding a freaked expression on her face.

Yes, third time in the year that SungYeol had dumped a woman. Did he care? Nope. There were no regrets in his actions. He always lived the second not giving a damn if it was right or wrong. At least outside the business industry (seems pretty obvious) that’s what Lee SungYeol tended to do.

Quickly, the tall man pulled out his walled and paid the bill for what he and his ex-girlfriend ate. Not too much. Some champagne, a bit of caviar and why not? Some soft cheese to match. They were just starting and the woman had managed to bother SungYeol to the limit. Way to go girl!

An apologetic smile was given to the tall man from the waitress that was at the door. SungYeol just smiled back and stepped outside the elegant French restaurant, his eyes suddenly filled with Japanese signs and a foreign language.

When was it that SungYeol went to live to Japan? That’s a pretty good question SungYeol tried to remember. Seven years? No, it could be more. Why he accepted? He had no other option. That was where his uncle and the company were.

The cold wind of November brought back some memories to the young man. God, it had been so long since the last time SungYeol decided to go walking instead of taking his car. Not that he drove anyway. For that there was his chauffeur.

His attire kept him completely safe from the cold wind. A checked beige scarf surrounded his long neck and lips keeping them warm, not letting them release the vapour from the drastic difference of temperatures. Yes, it was cold. Japan was cold. Well, Korea was cold too.

Korea was his home place – where he had born, where he had studied, where his parents had died, and where he had a healthy childhood. Now he was too many miles away from there.

Step by step, SungYeol was reaching his destiny, or flat to be more precise. He had started living there when he turned twenty-one. The tall man had enough money to buy a decent flat of a very nice and elegant building. Wow, five years in that place all by himself. That was kind of a personal record. SungYeol didn’t like to live by himself. He just didn’t like it. He couldn’t stand it. That was the first reason why he had accepted without hesitation to leave his precious home country and go to a foreign one with a completely different language, just so he could share a roof with another person. His dearest uncle, who he preferred to call Old Man.

So why he decided to live on his own at the tender age of twenty-one? Well, SungYeol had planned to find a person to live with and create a family. Yup, SungYeol wanted to have bothersome kids running around the place making freaking weird noises and dirtying everything; minimum four. Just because his childhood had been a bit boring – being an only child has its disadvantages too.

But that dream of a big family met a cruel end after his fifth girlfriend. The women were way too complicated! None of them fit his demands and so like that, seven years passed, hundred girlfriends – it is an exaggeration but since there was no count now… – passed too and there was Lee SungYeol, all by himself like Celine Dion.

" this,” SungYeol mumbled, furious with his picky personality as he made his way into an alley which he knew it quickly brought him to his place.

It was funny how silent the alley was. SungYeol could hear the passing cars and horns far away even though they were just a few metres from there. This silence was enjoyable since it wasn’t common in such a busy city like Tokyo. The time simply stopped around SungYeol whenever the noise disappeared from his senses. Even in his flat, the noise from the traffic jam was perfectly heard if he paid close attention to the utopian silence. Therefore, he always played some music or the TV.

A gentle tune started to grow on his head as his steps were starting to loosen up their speed. SungYeol was enjoying the moment and without noticing the tall male started humming. It was a soft yet meaningful melody that was complemented with a soft moan.

A moan?

Where in God’s love can a melody be complemented with a moan?! Aniyo. No. It’s impossible. Period. So how come a moan was heard? Sure the tall man didn’t make that noise, but then, who? Had SungYeol been followed by a or a kidnapper? Maybe a serial killer? It could be; his family was wealthy – he couldn’t deny it or hide it – and well known. But which , kidnapper or serial killer would even moan before capturing their pray? None. Well, a one could but that was off the topic.

“What the hell?” SungYeol murmured.

There. Again. Another moan.

Now that SungYeol paid more attention to it, the sound was a tad disturbing. It wasn’t emitted in a ual way as SungYeol had first thought. These ones held pain.

His dark orbs started to wander around the alley, slowly, trying to find the source of the noise but there wasn’t a single soul in there. Not even those bothering stray cats. There was just a huge rubbish container from where the noise came again.

“,” SungYeol said in his mother language as he started to walk away from the container, fear starting to build up but soon he stopped in his tracks. What if it was a hurt person that needed some help? There were lots of different options. In Japan, lots of inexplicable things happened. It seemed there, for an unknown reason, things just, happened.

SungYeol was a good man. He wasn’t a coward and most important, he wasn’t inhumane. SungYeol wasn’t so heartless, – well, maybe with his ex’s (but those dangerous creatures got nothing to do with this)  so the tallman snuck himself slowly to where the rubbish container was and not after listening another moan, he stood up on his toes – he was tall but not that tall – and looked inside the container. Eyes instantly opened wide.

His young dark orbs couldn’t believe what they had just found.

As a gift, wrapped in the most hideous paper ever, was a beautiful present covered in dirt, cuts and blood. A young oriental boy was dropped there. Pain was written all over his heavenly features and dry blood was pasted to his pale and bright skin. Medium long hazel hair bloomed from his scalp. His long cut fingers were clenching his stomach and arm. It seemed his wrist was hurt judging by the purple colour that covered it.

“Oh god,” SungYeol said as all the engrossed emotions started to bloom in his body. Those two words were enough to wake the boy from his delirious state.

“…kill me…”

The painful words were released from the dry lips of the young boy shocking completely the tall business man whose dark eyes suddenly met with blue ones.

- Author Notes

So, I missed SungYeol a lot, and that got me to fix this using Infinite.. plus I missed dark humor.

The original was written for another fansite but it's MINE. So yeah..

Warning: this contains lots of nice violent thingys, boy's love and  other dark thingys,

therefore rated M though I don't really think it needs it. (not rated anyomre :P)

If you don't mind that, you're welcome to read.

AH! I forgot to mention: the original image comes from Blue Eyed KPop Idols. All credits to the amazing  Beki.
