Narrator’s P.O.V:
A few days later, on an unusually warmer night, you were searching for Baro to ask him something. You searched every room in the house, but he was nowhere to be found.
“Umma!” You called as you hopped down the stairs. “Hmm?” Your mom asked as she flipped through some magazines at the dining table. “Where’s Baro Oppa?” You questioned her. “I’m not sure. Maybe he’s in another room. Keep looking.” Your mom replied busily.
You nodded and walked into Gongchan’s room. “Channie!” You called out as you walked in. You were stunned when you saw him. He was changing his shirt and he looked at you with an oblivious smile on his lips, “Yes?”
You quickly turned around. “Do you know where Baro Oppa is?”
“Nope!” He said and put his shirt on. You sighed in relief as you touched your hot cheeks. “Okay.” You walked out quickly and sighed as you bumped into CNU. “Shinwoo Oppa! Where’s Baro Oppa?” You questioned. “I’m not sure… Try asking Sandeul or Jinyoung.” He replied.
After asking the two, you still couldn’t find him. *Aish, where did Oppa go?* You bit your lip until you walked into his room and saw a ladder going up. “Aha!” You grinned and climbed up.
In no time, you were met with a light breeze. You looked up to see Baro sitting there on the roof with his arms behind his head, gazing at the stars. “Oppa!” He yelped in surprise when he heard your cheerful voice.
You giggled, *That was cute.* “Y-Yah! What are you doing up here?” Baro coughed awkwardly while trying to compose himself. You gave him a wide grin and sat on the roof beside him. “I was looking for you, silly. So you were here, huh? Admiring the stars?”
Baro softened and stared up at the twinkling stars. “Yeah. They remind me of my mom.” He said, smiling proudly. You admired his smile. “Of course. I remember you saying that once. They’re beautiful.” You let out a giggle and stared at the stars that shined brighter than ever.
*Yeah, but not as much as you.* He blushed a bit when that thought passed his mind. You turned around, staring at him with a happy smile on your lips. Your loose braids twirled around with you as you faced him.
Baro immediately and unexpectedly smiled back. You were taken aback and shyly smiled. “My New Years wish was to become closer to Oppas. Do you think we can all become closer?” You asked and stared at the inky sky.
“What do you mean? We already are.”
You were surprised and gazed at Baro. He was staring up at the sky with his hat on, pretending that he couldn’t feel your gaze on him. You smiled and after contemplating it a bit, cautiously wrapped your arms around his neck.
You rested your head on his shoulder for a hug. Baro froze but soon relaxed and wrapped his arms around your waist. “You don’t know how happy I am to have Oppas in my life.” You whispered, knowing that he could hear you.
Baro could feel his heart thumping a little more quickly than usual. He pulled away from the hug so that you were facing him with your hands on both of his shoulders. His warm gaze melted you as he stared right at you and lightly smiled.
Baro lightly bonked your forehead against his. “And you don’t how happy we are to have you in our lives.” He murmured as the two of you shared a laugh under the twinkling night sky.

Sorry if it seems like I'm giving Baro too much favouritism. x3 My bias is Jinyoung, if anyone was curious. ^^
The others will get more parts, so don't worry, people! ^^
By the way, have you guys heard LEDApple's new song, "Who Do You Think You Are"? It's a great song, but most of the original members are gone! :O
I-OH left because of tuberculosis and Minyong left because of reasons unstated... (Those are the two main singers btw)
And those were my two biases from the group... TT_TT
Anywho, I hope they get better and are able to debut again! ^^

omo i decided to read chapter 1 before i sleep but the giddiness of it kepte more awake. i started 3hrs ago and i can't stop and it's already 6am. huuhwaaaaa this is one amazing fic!! it's a shame that i badly need to sleep now.
