Twinkle Twinkle - Girls' Day

Narrator’s P.O.V:
The long weekend had sadly ended for the six of you. You were all on the bus on your way to school. Ever since the day when Jinyoung said something about page 48, he wasn’t the same. You were starting to get worried about him.
Jinyoung wouldn’t say anything. He wasn’t happy or cheerful as he was before, and he would space out. You were playing with CNU’s glasses when you turned to look at what Jinyoung was doing. He blankly stared out the window.
Sandeul noticed the tension and lightly clapped Jinyoung on the back. “Hey, what’s wrong? You seem pretty quiet lately.” He tried to start up a conversation, but Jinyoung just brushed him off. He sweeped Sandeul’s hand off of his shoulder.
“Nothing.” Jinyoung said with an indifferent tone of voice. Sandeul kept quiet as Gongchan, CNU, and Baro looked at him quizzically. They all suspected that something was the matter. You bit your lip, confused as to why he was suddenly acting so strange.
Jinyoung didn’t say anything else, so the five of you didn’t bother him anymore.
Finally, the six of you reached the schools. You hopped off of the stairs carefully as Baro eyed you. *She seems like she’s in a good mood today.* He thought. “Whoa!” Your voice snapped him out of your thoughts. You had tripped on the last step.
All the boys made a move to catch you, but Gongchan was the fastest since he was in front of you. He caught you in a hugging pose. “Watch out, dongsaeng.” Gongchan gave you a dazzling smile. Your heart beat fast and you were worried that he might have heard it.
“K-Komawo, Oppa.” You stuttered and tried your best to calm down your beating heart. Baro silently gazed at you as he noticed that you scraped your hand on the railing.
Without a word, Baro cleaned your cut with some tissues he had. You could almost feel your cheeks redden. All of a sudden, you felt warm and fuzzy inside.
“Gwenchana?” Sandeul asked as he pulled out a band-aid from his pocket and handed it to CNU as he carefully stuck it on you. Immediately, your heart thumped again. “Yeah… I’m f-fine…” You gulped.
You stared at Jinyoung, who still didn’t say anything. You looked down and felt kind of disappointed. Suddenly, you felt your backpack being taken off of your shoulders and looked up to see Jinyoung slinging it on his back.
“I’ll take you to the gates.” Jinyoung said as you stared into his eyes. He gave you the grin that you were missing so much. You quickly beamed in delight. The other four nodded and went to their school.
Jinyoung dropped you off at the gates and gave you your backpack back, “Be careful at school, araso? Don’t be fooled by any of the guys and fight back if the girls are getting to y—“ Jinyoung nagged as you secretly smiled. *He’s back to normal.*
“Araso, Jinyoung Oppa. Don’t worry.” You told him as he gazed at you and leaned in, planting a light kiss on your forehead. “All I want for you is to be safe. I’m leaving now!” He gave you a wave as he left. You were left with your eyes wide and your heart going out of control.
You touched your forehead with your fingertips. *He just… kissed me…* Your cheeks tinged with pink.
Jinyoung tried to remain composed as he walked off, but he couldn’t stop thinking about the kiss. He groaned, “Aish, why did I have to do that? Stupid Jinyoung!” He sighed and noticed that his heart was thumping like crazy. Jinyoung carefully touched his cheeks and was surprised to feel that it was hot.
Jinyoung flicked his own head. He knew that he couldn’t be a good brother to you anymore. *Yah, Jung Jinyoung. What the hell have you gotten yourself into?* He thought as he walked into the school with warm cheeks and a blushing face.
