Tonight, I'm Afraid of the Dark - 10cm http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBHOEkIR2lA ----------------------- Narrator’s P.O.V: Plop! Three pairs of eyes turned to stare at little Haeyeon, who flopped against the cool tiled floor, rubbing her eyes sleepily. A curious Junhong hovered above her, “What’s wrong? It was our turn to roll.” Haeyeon scrunched her lips into a pout. “I’m tiiiired,” she drawled, “Monooply is boring!” Zelo blinked at Haeyeon and turned to share an amused glance with Hana, his elder sister. Daehyun rolled his eyes, “Haeyeon, its ‘Monopoly’, not Monooply.” “I don’t care. I’m bored and tired and I want to go to sleep!” Haeyeon yawned loudly, frowning. Zelo gawped, “But we were winning! It was us two against noona and hyung!” Hana chuckled and placated her brother by patting his back, “Shall we clean up the game, then?” “Aw, man…” Junhong grumbled. *And I was going to make Daehyun hyung go bankrupt, too…* While Zelo put the board away and Hana collected the pieces in a baggie, Daehyun scooted over to Haeyeon and motioned over to her, “Come on, you little tyke. I’ll take you to my room.” Haeyeon curtly shook her head, “…No.” Daehyun was caught off-guard by her sudden attitude with wide, surprised eyes. He had never had this problem with her before. Even Hana and Junhong paused to see what was going on between the usually sweet siblings. Haeyeon crawled over to Zelo on her little hands and feet, hugging his arm, “I want to sleep with oppa, not you, bro.” A spark of amusement filled Hana’s eyes as she slyly watched the bickering begin. Daehyun’s surprise soon washed away when he noticed the clock on the wall. *No wonder she’s so cranky. It’s almost eleven.* Getting a little impatient, he motioned again, “Jung Haeyeon, you come over here.” “No~” Haeyeon whimpered, hiding behind Junhong, “I don’t wanna!” Snap. Daehyun lost all his patience and scooped Haeyeon up into his arms. “No!” Haeyeon wailed, whining loudly. Daehyun held her out at arm’s length and gave her a firm look, “Jung Haeyeon. I know you’re tired, but you have to still mind your manners! Remember what Ma and Pa always say?” Haeyeon’s whines began to gradually drone out until she sniffled, “…Be respectful, no matter where you are.” “Good,” Daehyun nodded approvingly, “Now, please say goodnight to unnie and oppa.” Like an answering machine, Haeyeon replied, “Goodnight unnie and oppa…” Hana brightened, “Goodnight!” “Sleep well~” Zelo grinned. Haeyeon looked a bit apologetic as she tightened her arms around her brother’s neck. She gave up all resolve and let him carry her upstairs. A short while later, after tucking Haeyeon into bed, Daehyun hurried down the steps, joining the two siblings. He sat down beside Hana, who leaned against his shoulder like it was the most natural thing in the world. Hana peered up at him, “You’ll teach our kids how to behave respectfully like Haeyeonnie later on in the future, right?” Daehyun shook his head, but Hana could see the slight amusement in his eyes, “You never fail to promote a married life.” Still, Daehyun didn’t make a move to push Hana off of his shoulder. Hana smirked and simply played with the couple rings on his and her fingers. From the corner, Zelo smiled a bit as he finished putting the lid on the Monopoly box. He picked it up and yawned quietly, “I think I’m gonna head up for the night, too. All that hard work of devising plans to beat Daehyun hyung wore me out.” “Hey!” Daehyun yelped. Zelo snickered, “Just kidding, hyung. Goodnight!” Hana watched as her little brother made his way up the stairs, and her expression soften
