One hundred and twenty-eight
Description
It has been said that there is no sensation a person can experience worse than drowning. The feeling is so unbearable that 'waterboarding', a technique that simulates the sensation of drowning, is considered a horrific and inhumane form of torture.
I remember drowning when I was seven years old. And for the longest time it was the worst thing I had ever been through. Now, it's the second worst thing I've experienced, because at the very least I managed to survive it.
But this...
I don't think I can survive this.
Foreword
“There’s no way to release yourself from a memory. It ends when it wants to end, whether it’s in a flash or long after you’ve begged it to stop."
