Confession
My Heart Chose You (Sequel To: It Started With A New Year's Kiss)L had decided to go on with his surprise event although in his mind, he knew that he had a failing probability of 99.9%. But being the man he was, he surely didn't want to give up without an effort. *Let's hold on to that 0.1% and maybe miraculously she'll.. accept me.* He thought as he paced around outside a western restaurant next to the Han River where he and Haneul had their first kiss on New Year's Eve.
From far, he saw a beautiful girl walking towards the restaurant. As she came nearer and nearer, L's jaw dropped. His eyes turned into hearts that were popping out of his eye sockets. Standing in front of him was his clumsy angel looking all dolled up. She was wearing a white skater dress with short, laced sleeves and golden flat pump shoes, carrying a golden glitter hardcase clutch.
Haneul walked closer to L and grinned. "Hi, oppa. I'm sorry I'm late. I missed my bus by a minute." Haneul gave L an apologetic smile. But L was too stunned to say anything. He just stood there and almost drooled if Haneul didn't wave a hand in front of his eyes. "Oppa?"
"O-Oh I'm sorry. Y-You look beautiful." L stammered. "Thank you. You look handsome too in that blazer, oppa." Haneul held out a thumbs up. "Thank you, clumsy. Should.. we go in now?" L nodded his head towards the restaurant. Haneul smiled and nodded.
They talked about random things throughout the dinner. But L noticed that at times Haneul was smiling to herself, thinking of something, or rather someone else when they weren't talking. He had a strong hunch of who that lucky person was.
Nevertheless, he will still go to the end to grab that 0.1
