Some years after the case of King Pluto, everyone went back to their normal lives:

Kyu Renjo was now attending Shibusawa Academy along with Megumi Minami and Ryuu Amakusa. Yes, this was the same Academy were the group had to solve the case of "The Collector". They were only in second year of junior high when the case happened, and in the end, they grew rather close to that school and decided to attend there. 

Kyu:

• 17 Years old - 11th grade
• Was still a scardy cat sometimes
• When he was young he always had his issues when it came to running but now he was in the track team and was one of the best runners in the school
• Kyuu had many friends as he was very sociable and sympathetic

Megu:

• 16 years old - 11th grade
• Her photographic memory allowed her to skip a year at school, so she was now in the same grade as Ryuu and Kyuu
• She was one of the prettiest girls in the whole school and was often admired by many people
• She found a new hobbie once she entered high school: baking

Ryuu:

• 17 years old - 11th grade
• Ryuu was one of the hottest guys in school but his cold attitude toward other people made him seem difficult to approach
• Found and interest in photography.
• He was one of the smartest people in the school, often being part of the highest 5 when it came to grades (could have skipped a grade but decided to remain where he was)

Kazuma:

• 18 years old
• Since he alread had his future set, Kazuma decided to quit high school. But he still had some private lessons.
• He kept  programming video games and was now one of the most recognized game producers.
• He made a bet with Kintaro and because he lost, he was forced to shave his head.

Kintaro:

• 22 years old.
• He came to good terms with his father and was now serving in the police.
• He was often busy with work but sometimes he would join Q class to help solve mysteries (sometimes his work also involved some of the cases he solved with Q class)
• Found a girlfriend, Haruka Matsumura and was planning on proposing.

When there was no case to solve, the Q class would rarely meet. Everyone was busy with their own life. The only ones that met everyday were Kyuu, Megu and Ryuu. Even though with their very different personalities, these three were unseparable. Everything was starting to calm down after the Pluto case. Nothing big had happened in the following years and everyone was starting to get used to it, however they would have never expected what was about to happen.
