Foreword

 

Hi, there's nothing here really. This fic is barely done and it was supposed to be a birthday gift for Minseok but I failed to meet my own deadline, as always. So. I'm turning this into a XIUHAN birthday gift instead.

Here's how things are gonna roll:

March 31 - Prologue   UPDATED! 3/31

April 13 - 1st Part         UPDATED! 4/22

May 4 - 2nd / Final Part

This will probably be my last XiuHan fic for the next quarter or so. No reason, really. Just a little burned out and I don't want to keep on throwing emotional garbage at your faces lol. I still ship it dearly and will prolly not write anything else other than Xiuhan (or Suchen) in the future, but.

Yeah.

 

I wrote this fic in parts for the last 3 months and it was supposed to be a farewell gift for a friend lmao, but looks like her stay is extended much to my dismay. This story is close to my heart and as early as now I can already tell this is the fic I enjoyed writing the most (also because I haven't seen a lot of Xiuhan fics in the same genre so far heh).

 

Here's to hoping this is good. =___=

 

But yeah. Expect emotional wreckage, mindbenders and lots and lots of XiuHan love here.

It won't be as sappy as Fissure, I promise.

And........ I will veer away from the cheese. :)

Chapter 2: I know it's unlikely that you'll ever update this again but I can't help but hope and subscribe. It's an amazing story, really addicting and captive! It feels like such a sham for it to remain incomplete, the potential is so high! So I'll keep my fingers crossed, just in case :)

Chapter 2: Omo this was the most original fic I've read in a while. And it was a much needed breath of fresh air. I find it amazing how the descriptions and characterizations you used all illustrate very distinct imagery in my head. I feel as if I'm seeing what Luhan sees, feeling what he feels. When the onslaught of emotion from Minseok's "death" hit Luhan, it hurt my kokoro just the same. And the elation he felt when he met Xiumin. I wanted to yelp with joy. I have a very sneaking suspicion that Minseok and Xiumin are one and the same. But what hurts me the most is how Xiumin could act so calm about everything when Luhan is constantly shown to be suffering. But I guess it's like their irl personalities cuz Luhan has always been a bit more showy. I liked how you kept quite true to irl xiuhan and built this whole fantastical world around them. It's simply lovely. o3o

Chapter 2: Whoa this is pretty crazy and I think I have reason to suspect that minseok saw that he and luhan couldn't be together and faked his own death?? But omg the intenseness of this story is amazing. And i love all of the pairings here
