Maybe I was too late to appear in your life. Yes it was all a matter of bad timing. Timing,

Why must you be such a heartthrob? Why did you sweep me away with your voice? Why must you be my ideal guy?

But after all that,  you just weren't meant for me. 

How can I face you after the complicated love confession? How can I be my normal self again in front of you when you hope that I will be just that when every minute I would be reminded of the pain of being just the girl that you had a fling with?

But God wasn't cruel. He made us into bestfriends and yes I'm glad that we were better off this way. We became the bestest of friends despite the dark past we had. 

Our path of choosing to be bestfriends didn't come along easy. Well for me at least. I experienced a lot of heartbreak thanks to you but never did I blame you one bit. It was just me.

His tears began to flow profusely down his cheeks and landed on the letter he was holding. Holding onto a chair beside him, he closed his eyes and kept the letter close to his heart. He regretted it. He regretted hurting his bestfriend in ways he could never thought of. In ways he was oblivious about. His bestfriend kept it all to herself and endured every passing hurt he gave her indirectly.

How could she still be humorous about this when she's writing? How could she be the same LeeNa then writing in that state or so he thought.

What a strong woman she is. A very strong-willed, hardheaded, kind hearted woman she is.

As he said his final goodbye to her, he clenched the necklace he had given to her, in his hands. It was a token of their years of friendship which she held on dearly to ever since. Remembering the delight on her face that day made him manage a small yet sorrowful smile.

Slowly, he gave her a final kiss on her forehead and that was the last he ever saw of her. Whatever was left, was her memories.
