Victoria Song (Qian): One of the orphans taken in by Shushan Sect. Since young, she has had an aptitude for martial arts, and is a highly respected member of the Sect. She believes firmly in the power of good over evil, and is a righteous warrior who will never let injustice go unpunished. She is a member of the Shushan Five.

Zhou Mi: A normal boy from a normal merchant family – or so he thought. When he is sought out by the Chief of Shushan Sect, he discovers that he is in fact the Saviour, destined to end the war between two rival Sects. Despite his rich background, he is a warm-hearted, humble man who’s more than willing to help the Shushan Sect in their mission.

Shim Changmin: A highly-skilled warrior, famed around the world, he is thought of to be the successor to the leadership of the Demon Sect. He is a dangerous man, and the murders of many Shushan Sect disciples can be traced back to him. Cold and heartless, he is a warrior to be feared.

Zhang Yixing: The quiet, supportive leader of the Shushan Five, he is a man of few words. Highly skilled, he is filled with righteous justice and a desire to protect all the vulnerable and weak. At the same time, he is Victoria’s best friend and closest confidante.

Kris Wu (Yifan): The stoic, unflappable member of the Shushan Five, he is a deadly warrior and a man to be feared on the battlefield. Highly disciplined and trained, he is the warrior the Shushan Five look to when Yixing is absent.

Amber Josephine Liu: The tomboy of the Shushan Five, she is often described as a wild, uncontrollable force of nature. Like Victoria, she firmly believes in justice and has a strong desire to punish all evil in the world.

Huang Zitao (Tao): The playful, fun-loving member of the Shushan Five, he is the youngest of the group and is often spoiled by the others. Unlike his fellows, he does not care so much about right and wrong – as long as he’s able to have his fun, he’s happy!

Cho Kyuhyun: Deeply loyal to Changmin, he will follow the older warrior to the ends of the world. A ruthless soldier, he will do anything he is told to.

Allegiance: Demon Sect

Byun Baekhyun: Like Tao, he is fun-loving and playful. However, he is also a cruel warrior, taking enjoyment in the pain of others.

Allegiance: Demon Sect

Han Geng: The wise, powerful leader of the Shushan Sect, he is amongst the strongest martial artists that ever lived. Calm and unflappable, he is a father figure to all his students, and he is also the one who seeks out and teaches Zhou Mi his true destiny.

Jung Yunho: Chief of the Demon Sect, he appears to be a mild-mannered and reserved man, but is in fact a ruthless warrior, willing to go to any means to achieve his ambitions and desires.

My first legit Zhoutoria/Changtoria fanfic! I was originally going to write this fanfic for JB/Jiyeon/Myungsoo but I realised that since it was going to be about kungfu, then Zhoumi/Victoria would be much more logical choices for the main characters.

This fanfic is inspired by Kung Fu Panda – the three main characters mirror three of the main characters in the original Kung Fu Panda, can any of you guess which three? In any case, yes, this fanfic is set in ancient China, and its focus is going to be about kungfu.

Edit: I've added some character profiles to give more of a clue as to who will be in the story - mostly SM idols~

Edit 2: Due to a growing fondness for Luhan/Luyoon, I've decided to give Luhan a bigger arc in the story, and there is a some possibility of some Luyoon interactions.
