It was not the first time she had been engulfed in a wreckage of burnt twisted metal, shimmering broken glass, and molten black rubber tires. The acrid smoke was tearing up her eyes and burning cancerous holes in her lungs. She was lying on the side of the road, her eyes to the sky. Except for feeling slightly disoriented, she was uninjured. She took a deep breath, breathing in the searing hotness that was the burning inferno all around her. Her cry rent a hole in the silent night.

From a near distance, she heard the driver scream in animalistic agony as he burst into flames along with his accursed piece of hell on earth. The girl lay there and found little solace in the shrieks of the wretched dying man. He had been on his damn iPhone...

Where is her babygirl?

Light of her life.
