October 15, 1896 

A new baby is born out of the Choi family. They were always a rich happy family that lived in Mokpo. He was a good boy and had angelic looks the moment he was born. He wouldn't cry. He used different methods of getting what he wanted. At age 2 he was able to talk and walk. The evil spirits dissapprove that this boy was so intelligent. They forsaw his future and it was incredible. They were determined to do something to this boy. On his 16th birthday, the evil spirits killed his entire family and everyone related; even distant ancestors. They cursed the boy to die every 5 years. They would steal all his precious memories of his life. They made him permantely at age 16. Of course, Zelo never knew that this was their plan. He didn't even know that there were spirits hating him or even that there were spirits at all. He would never know that every 5 years he would be killed secretly and moved to a random area on Earth after another 5 years. They enjoyed seeing this boy suffering of not knowing who he is. Even if he tries to commit suicide it wouldn't work. He cannot die until it is the right time. But when 5 years pass he is gone. He comes back 5 years laster for his 2nd life. Confused, he tries to fit in this society. This year he is placed in Seoul.

Character Introduction

Zelo

Star of the story. His real name is Junhong, but its was erased from his memory. The moment he reincarnates the first thing that comes into his mind is Zelo. Honestly, he didn't know what it meant, so he just used it as his name. He thought it sounded cool anyway. Zelo comes from ‘Zelos’ who is the god of rivalry in Greek mythology. His friends BTOB from his first life named his this because he was so hardworking and because he loved studying mythology so much.

IU

IU is Zelo's girlfriend in his first life. She is also his first girlfriend. He knew she was the one. Friendly, caring and loving; she was just like him. He loved her very much and she loved him back.

BTOB

BTOB is a group name for Zelo's friends. Zelo befriended them a few months before his first death. The day before he died, BTOB promised him that he would be added into the group the next day not only because they were all best friends, but it was also his birthday. The day Zelo will die.

Flashback

South Korea, Mokpo

Zelo had the same routine everyday. Wake up, go to school, come straight home, finish homework, study then sleep. He had the same schedule everyday since elementary school. People admired his hard work and this made him very popular. He didn't really spend much time with his friends out of school because he was so focused on studying. Its amazing how he never gets bored of the same thing everyday. Honestly, even though it wasn't actually that fun, he did it anyway. He didn't really have anything better to do anyway. This year he is in 10th grade. 15 years old. A new group of boys came to the school. They were all best friends and they all decided to switch schools. They were friendly, but they weren't too smart. They wanted to be smart, but they just werent. Zelo befriended these guys. They taught Zelo that there were other things to do in life that were really fun. Zelo would tutor each and every one of them and make sure they pass each subject. They all had fun together.
