He asked me for a dance under the moonlight, my mind wanted to object but my heart is telling me the opposite. My mind wanted me to run, run as far away from him as possible but my heart wanted me to stay. I looked into his eyes, there is a desperate glint in his eyes mixed with nervousness. I looked around and noticed that everyone is staring at us, anticipating what my response would be. I did the unexpected, I took his hand and followed him to the dance floor. The crowd cheered for us and I can't help but smile. I'm happy that they're still wishing for us to be together.

Under the moonlight we danced, this could have been the most romantic part of a teenage girl but for me it is the most heartbreaking part. His eyes showed no emotion, it was as empty as a blackhole. Our set up, it's suffocating me, every second that passes makes it harder for me to breath, my heart was breaking. When I couldn't take it anymore, I let go of his hand but he held unto me tighter, his eyes demanding for a little longer. I looked at him, confusion was getting in to me. Why don't he want to let go? Why does he keep on playing with my feelings? A tear fell down my cheek.

I can't believe he changed this much. He was my childhood bestfriend, my rival and He is my childhood crush. My first love who will never love me in return.
