“Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.”

"I miss you."

Taemin stares at what lies ahead of him, of his bitter shreds of future and the frighteningly bleak life. Light rain droplets fall on his shoulders, each one making them heavier. The air is cold and the once warm embrace that held him safe all the time disappeared without leaving behind the tasteful essence. He used to love the smooth thumb that wiped away his spilling tears but now, those lines cascade down his cheeks effortlessly and all he could feel inside out are emptiness and longing. His eyes glazed over and through his blurry vision, he rereads for seemingly the thousandth times over, the name carved on the grey tombstone. Disbelieve, shock and hurt fill his lungs and for the first time in his life, Taemin is deeply intrigued at why he is still breathing while that person buried beneath the soil is not. Framed in black and white in his many memories, the smiles and the laughter of that person echoes distantly within his wilting inside. The hand that would have held his hand and led him before is now replaced by a cold wind. Taemin still stands in front of the tombstone, eyes getting blurrier than ever and feet planted in the brown dirt where he watches that person beneath piles of wet soil and his name carved, never to be unwritten for many centuries to come. And he fleetingly thought each passing moment; what is he to do now? Where is he to return now? Then he rereads those carving again as his hurt renewed all over.

A/N: Thank you for reading and I'm really sorry for killing Minho. Angst feeling came over me after finishing a game and I let it out by writing this. I hope you like it. :)
