Peppermint & Hot Chocolate Kisses

Description

Reminiscing is a dangerous affair.  One can’t help but think of the past, of past promises, of past works, and overall of friends long gone.  This could not be truer in the sense of the word than now, because an old promise was remembered –it was forgotten.  Not any more though, here I will rectify it all by a story that was promised to be given, but never was received.  A moment of loss, a moment of forgetfulness, a piece of string that fell off a finger a long long time ago.  Here is  a story to keep her warm, a promise fulfilled, and a memory retrieved and ready to be given.

This is for you Bea.

Foreword

Here she was, in a country not her own, in a land strange and yet full of more want and desire than any other, coming in close second to her first love of Japan.  Yes, here she was in the Republic of South Korea, first year in a strange land, in a country she chose to be at for a job that was much needed.  Still the feeling of loneliness and homesickness nagged at her, because tomorrow was Christmas Day.
