“I can’t believe I’m actually bloody doing this” G.O muttered as he checked the bullets in his gun.

 

“You better be right about this one Kangin” Junho said grabbing his jacket.

 

“You know I wouldn’t make you two do something like this if I wasn’t 100% sure” Kangin replied as he looked up from his computer screen.

 

G.O sighed and grabbed the car keys, “Let’s get a move on then the others start asking questions.”

“GD?”

 

JIyong startled up and his eyes went straight to Dara who was still lying there in the same position. He sighed and ran his fingers through his hair before turning to Gummy.

 

 

“Mianhe” Gummy whispered before going to the other side of Dara.

 

 

“What are you doing noona?” JIyong rubbed his face tiredly.

 

“The last dose of sedative will wear off soon” she reached for Dara’s arm, “I need to give her another one before she wakes up.”

 

JIyong’s face fell slightly and he nodded before sitting on the edge of the bed with his back facing Dara and waited for Gummy to finish.

 

 

 

“GD?”

 

“Hm” Jiyong replied as Gummy walked around the bed to him.

 

 

“…I can’t keep giving her doses of the sedative” Gummy said, “It’s too dangerous giving her this twice in such a short space of time anyway.”

 

JIyong clenched his jaw together and looked back at Dara, “How long till she wakes up again?”

 

 

Gummy shook her head, “Not sure…these are quite strong so 6-7 hours…after that maybe I can give her a weaker dose until you get back but that’s the limit GD. If I give her anymore then…she could die”

 

JIyong raked his fingers through his hair and got off the bed, “Where are the others?”

 

 

“In the office waiting for you” Gummy replied.

 

 

“And is the base for the antidote ready?” he asked.

 

Gummy nodded, “I just need the drug now.”

“We can’t let him go alone” TOP shook his head.

 

“You think he’s going to let us follow him?” Teddy replied, “The note from CG said specifically for GD to come alone-“

 

“I know what it said but him alone” TOP grimaced, “I don’t have a good feeling about this.”
 

 

“What do you want to do then hyung?” Seungri asked, “He’s told us to stay here and guard the HQ in case something happens.”

 

 

 

“If he doesn’t know” Taeyang walked to them, “Then it won’t matter.”

 

 

“Tae hyung’s right” Daesung nodded, “If we follow him without him knowing we’ll there if something happens.”

 

“Then me and Dae will follow him” TOP said, “Seungri and Tae you guys stay here with the girls. Don’t let them out of your sight.”

 

 

 

“What are you guys whispering about?”

 

 

They turned to see GD and Gummy enter.

 

 

“Nothing” Top shook his head, “Ready for tonight?”

 

GD nodded, “Has CG been in contact?”

 

“No, not after yesterday” Taeyang shook his head.

 

“So then tonight’s still happening” GD said with a darkened expression, “Make sure the HQ is guarded properly while I’m gone. I want men at every door do you hear me?”

 

 

“You think CG is up to something else?” Teddy asked.

 

“I don’t know but I’m not going to take any chances” GD said through gritted teeth.

 

 

“I’ll notify the men” Seungri said as he walked out.

 

 

“Noona, get the antidote ready and keep a close eye on Dara” Jiyong said turning to her, “I want men outside her room too. As soon as I get here we need to give her the antidote arasso?”

 

Gummy nodded, “Everything’s ready for tonight.”

Minzy, Bom and CL stood outside Dara’s room and looked at her through the window.

 

 

“At least she’s not in any pain” CL mumbled as she stared at Dara unconscious on the bed.

 

Bom placed her palm on the window and stared quietly.

 

“Don’t worry unnies...” Minzy said quietly, “Everything’s going to be ok…it has to be…”

 

 

 

“Minzy”

 

 

 

The girls turned to see Young deuk and few other men hurriedly making their way towards them.

 

“What is it?” Minzy asked.

 

The men took their position outside Dara’s room with guns in their hands.

 

 

“No one can leave the HQ tonight” Young deuk explained, “GD’s orders.”

 

The girls looked at each other in confusion.

 

 

“Why? Is something happening?” Cl asked.

 

 

“GD thinks CG might be up to something and he doesn’t want any of us separated” Young deuk continued, “It’s safer if you girls are here with us than at the hotel.”

 

 

Bom slowly looked back at Dara in deep thought. Why was she feeling so scared suddenly? As if something very awful was going to happen tonight.

Minzy hurried down the corridors and stormed into the office where the boys and Gummy were getting ready. She scanned the room and she exhaled deeply when she saw Jiyong there. She thought he’d left already.

 

The boys turned to look at her, Jiyong tucked his gun and he eyed her as she started to walk slowly towards him and then run. Before Jiyong could say or do anything Minzy flung her arms around her oppa and held him tightly.

 

Minzy shook her head and held him tightly, “I know no matter what I say, no matter how much I don’t want you to go oppa I know you have to”

 

“Minzy-“

 

"For everything I ever said to you before...I'm so sorry" Minzy whispered making JIyong furrow his brows.

 

"..for everything you had to do for me oppa...I'm really sorry if I ever hurt you..." Minzy hugged him tightly.

 

"Minzy?" Jiyong said softly.

 

 

“Pppa I’m scared, I'm really scared.” Minzy said terrified of the prospect that her oppa might not return.

 

JIyong her hair and held her face to look down at her, “I’ll be back don’t worry about that.”

 

 

MInzy looked at him with tears gushing out of her eyes, “But…I’m still scared…”

 

JIyong clenched his jaw and hugged her tightly. He looked up and saw the boys’ dark expressions and he realised they were all feeling the same.

 

 

“…GD…it’s time” Gummy said quietly.

 

Jiyong nodded and slowly released his sister.

 

 

“…do you want to see Dara one last time before you leave?” Gummy asked slowly.

 

Everyone’s gaze slowly turned to Jiyong who stood there numbly.

 

After a moment of silence he finally nodded and headed out of the door.

When Jiyong reached Dara’s room he saw CL and Bom standing outside staring at her through the window.

 

They turned around when they heard his heavy and tired footsteps.

 

 

The girls parted slightly allowing JIyong to walk up and stand between them as he stared at Dara though the window. His hand slowly raised onto the cold glass and he leaned his head on it before closing his eyes.

 

 

Bom stepped back and turned when she heard some more footsteps. It was the rest of the gang. She smiled sadly at TOP before turning back to look into the dimly lit room.

 

 

 

Still with his eyes closed Jiyong finally spoke, “…Do you think I deserve her?”

 

Cl and Bom looked at each other in confusion until they realised he was asking them.

 

 

“Do you?” he exhaled the words heavily, his head still on the glass.

 

Cl and Bom didn’t know how to react or answer to such a question, especially from GD.

 

 

Bom took a deep breath and slowly walked up to his side, she placed a hand on his shoulder, “…Look at her.”

 

JIyong slowly opened his red eyes and looked up at Dara on the bed inside.

 

 

“…What do you see?” Bom asked sadly.

 

 

Jiyong gritted his teeth, “I only see what I’ve done to her…she’s lying there fighting for her life because of me.”

 

Bom nodded slowly staring at Dara through the window, “You’re right…she is fighting for her life but it’s not because of you…it’s for you”

 

 

JIyong clenched his jaw and his hands curled into fists.

 

 

“She’s fighting for her life for you…because she wants to be with you” Bom explained, “Why do you think that is?” she turned to face him but Jiyong kept his gaze on Dara.

 

 

Jiyong shook his head weakly, “…I don’t know.”

 

 

“It’s because you’re worth doing all this for” CL spoke up behind the two.

 

JIyong furrowed his brows but didn’t turn around.

 

 

“After everything you and Dara went through” CL continued, “everything that could possibly have been thrown at you two, you were still there for her…that’s why for Dara, you are worth fighting for, that’s why she believes in you so much that she isn’t even scared to die because she knows that…” CL had to stop to calm herself down as she felt her eyes start to sting slightly, “…because she knows…that even if she…leaves, you’ll still find her in another life.”

 

 

JIyong gritted his teeth and hung his head low.

 

“And we all know that too” CL said quietly, “that’s why you deserve her more than any other being on earth.”

 

 

“You deserve her GD” Bom whispered, “So…please find the drug…please for her…for us.”

 

Jiyong looked at her with blood shot eyes and Bom smiled back with trembling lips.

 

“…go see her one last time” Bom nodded at Jiyong.

 

 

 

Jiyong stared at the door numbly before slowly making his way to the door. His hand held onto the cold metal door knob and turned it to hear the faint click of the door opening.

 

The room was warm and dimly lit with just a lamp next to Dara on the bedside table. He paused to take it all in and slowly made his way to the bed.

 

 

 

 

TOP and the others walked up to the window where Bom and CL were standing and sadly looked into the room, watching their leader in his most helpless state.

 

 

 

 

 

Jiyong’s back slumped slightly as he sat down on the bed. His heart was racing for some reason, he felt anxious and nervous and he knew why. He dreaded that this might be the last time he saw her.

 

He slowly reached for her and his eyes furrowed and jaws clenched when he realised just how cold her hands were. He turned to her and slowly leaned in holding her hands in his and started to blow small warm breaths onto her hands.

“Why them?” Minzy asked numbly from outside.

 

No one replied but everyone was asking the same question in their heads as they watched the heartbreakingly touching scene in front of them.

Jiyong held her hands close to his cheeks and his sighed when he felt slight warmth from Dara’s hands now, “…that’s better” he whispered before placing her hands gently on her sides.

 

He then her face with his fingers, “This is the last time I promise. After tonight I’ll leave everything behind...”

 

Jiyong kissed her forehead gently, he then looked down at her lips and he leaned in to softly rest his lips on hers. Just a little kiss like this made his heart break, he edged away slightly before resting his forehead on hers, “I’ll make it all go away…”
