"How would the cops have known we were there?", Gummy said anxiously as she walked up and down the room.

 

 

The three girls stood beside Minzy and watched the guys stare into space grimly. Once seeing GD's stoic expression Dara quickly turned away, still in shock that she made out with the most dangerous man in Seoul.

 

 

 

"Noona, find out who the snitch was?", TOP said in a low voice.

 

"What makes you think it was one of us?", Gummy said quickly, "It could have been the other side."

 

"You know the other side want the E7 more than anything, they wouldn't risk calling the police", Taeyang sighed as he leaned back on the chair and closed his eyes.

 

 

From the corner of her eyes, Bom looked at CL who looked like she was ready to kill her and Dara.

 

 

"Noona, just find out who it was arasso", GD finally spoke.

 

Gummy sighed and nodded before leaving the room.

 

 

 

"Bom", Seungri called out.

 

"Huh?", Bom startled she was still busy trying to figure out what CL was thinking.

 

"How did you know they were cops?", he asked. The other guys looked up at Bom now curiously.

 

"I...I...", Bom stuttered, looking at the girls and then back at boys, "One of them had a gun and he looked suspicious..."

 

 

The boys squinted their eyes and TOP walked up to her, "Gun?"

 

Bom gulped nervously and nodded, "y..yeah.."

 

"That's strange", TOP tilted his head, "Everyone who came in would have been checked for guns by the security."

 

 

Dara and CL cursed inwardly and tried to stay calm as they watched Bom.

 

 

"I...know, it's strange but I'm sure he had a gun that why's I warned you", Bom replied calmly as she could.

 

TOP stared at her for a while before nodding, "Well...thank you."

 

Bom forced a smile and nodded.

 

 

"What about you Dara?", Taeyang furrowed his brows, "GD said you informed him there were cops there too."

 

Dara's eyes flickered towards GD and their gaze met for a split second before she turned back to Taeyang, "I..I saw someone who looked suspicious so....I followed him and heard him on the phone saying that they needed back up."

 

"So you thought they were cops and warned GD hyung", Daesung nodded and finished her sentence.

 

"Exactly", Dara smiled nervously.

 

 

"See oppas, I told you my unnies would be able to do their jobs", Minzy smiled and crossed her arms across her chest proudly.

 

The guys smiled slightly at their dongsaeng, GD looked up to Dara who seemed like she was trying to look everywhere but at him. He squinted his eyes and tilted his head slightly while watching her. Why did he kiss her back? He realised afterwards that she only kissed him to save him but why did he kiss her back? If it was any other girl throwing themselves at him, he would have just pushed them aside but not Dara.

"You go", Dara pleaded Bom.

 

"No you!", Bom pushed Dara towards CL's door.

 

"You!!", Dara pulled Bom with her.

 

 

 

"Just get in!", they heard CL's murderous voice from inside.

 

 

 

They cursed themselves and entered slowly, they took tiny steps inside and stood by the wall hanging their head low.

 

 

CL took a deep breath and turned around to face them, "Why did you guys do that?"

 

 

The two looked up apologetically.

 

 

"What were you thinking?", CL hissed, "We had them and you two ruined it!!"

 

 

"CL-"

 

"No Bom!", CL shut her up, "I told you not to get attached to them!!"

 

"I know but CL, Minzy-"

 

"Stop it!!", CL hissed again, "Don't you think I care about Minzy too?! But the gang are criminals!! And our job is to catch criminals not help them escape!!"

 

"I'm....sorry", Bom sighed and bit her lip, "But I couldn't bare to be the reason Minzy is separated from her family."

 

"Bom!", CL shouted.

 

"Look, all three of us are from broken families, and for once I actually a family so close that...."

 

"That what? You forgot they're criminals?!", CL asked "And you!", CL turned to Dara, "Don't even get me started Dara!"

 

 

Dara looked up ready to have whatever thrown at her, she knew she was in the wrong.

 

 

"We took this stupid mission because you wanted to!", CL reminded her, "Me and Bom don't even know the reason and we still agreed to do it and now what do you do? You ruin it!!"

 

"I'm sorry CL, I was...I was being selfish" Dara said.

 

"I don't want you two to apologise, I want you two to remember you're the police! They're the bad guys and we're the good guys! There is no in between got it!", CL shouted.

 

 

*ring ring*

 

 

CL looked at her phone and sighed, "It's the chief."

 

"CL..please", Bom pleaded.

 

 

CL shook her head and picked up the phone, "Yoboseyo."

 

"What happened?! We were there waiting and nothing happened?!!"

 

CL looked at the girls silently.

 

"Yoboseyo?! CL?! What happened?!!"

 

CL took a deep breath, "Sorry chief...they figured out the cops were there."

 

"What? How?!"

 

CL looked at the girls, "I..I dont know."

 

 

She ended the call and looked at the girls, "If you two ever pull a stunt like that again, I'll have no choice but to report you."

 

 

"CL", Dara called out as CL left the room.

 

"sh!t!", Bom sat on the bed, "Why did I do that?!"

"CL....", Dara and Bom peeped through the door the next morning with a tray of breakfast.

 

 

The room was completely empty.

 

 

"CL!", Bom walked in and called her out again, checking the bathroom, she turned back around and found Dara holding a note, "Is that from CL?"

 

"Yeah", Dara nodded reading the note, "It say's 'I've gone out for the morning will be back later'"

 

Bom sighed and sat on the bed, "She's probably gone to see her mum right."

 

"She always does when she's got something on her mind", Dara mumbled staring out of the window.

 

"We really hurt her didn't we?", Bom said.

 

Dara turned towards Bom but didn't say anything.

CL got out of the taxi and stared at the large white building in front of her. She took a deep breath and walked past the 'Seoul Pscyhiatric Hospital' sign and into the building.

 

 

 

CL walked up to female ward and smiled at the nurses at the nurse station.

 

"CL", one of the senior nurses hugged her warmly, "We haven't seen you here for a while."

 

"Sorry sister Kim, I've been a busy at work", CL smiled.

 

"Well your mum's missed you", the nurse smiled as she escorted CL towards a room at the far end of the corridor.

 

"Really?", CL asked expectantly, "Does she remember?"

 

"Well...", the nurse sighed, "Not that you're her daughter, but she keeps asking why her friend hasn't visited lately."

 

"Oh..", CL forced a sad smile and walked to the door, looking through the window into the room.

 

 

A woman in her late 40's was sitting in the middle of the room holding a teddy bear and colouring in a picture. That was CL's mother, Lee Minyoung an intelligent, caring and independent woman who raised CL into the person she is today. Now, she was only a shell of that woman, instead now she had the mentality of a 7 year old and didn't even know that CL was her daughter. It all happened 5 years ago, when her parents got into a horrific car accident that killed her dad at the scene and left her mother this way.

 

 

 

"Call me if you need anything", the nurse said softly before leaving CL's side.

 

 

Cl took a deep breath and plastered a big smile on her sad face before walking into the room.

 

 

"Annyeong", CL smiled and waved. 

 

Her mother looked up and her face lit up brightly, "Cee!!"

 

"Hello", CL hugged her tightly.

 

"My friend Cee!", her mother clapped her hands.

 

"Ooh what's that you're drawing?", CL asked looking at the drawing.

 

Minyoung picked up the paper and showed CL, "Cee and me!"

 

"Wow it's beautiful Minyoung", CL smiled brightly.

 

"For you cee cee", Minyoung gave her the paper shyly.

 

"Awh thank you honey", CL smiled and hugged her mother.

Bom sat outside the hotel and looked at the road ahead waiting for CL. She felt so bad she couldn't stay put in the apartment for her, she had to apologise.

 

"Palli CL", Bom mumbled as she craned her neck towards the road looking for a sign of CL.

 

 

 

"YAH!"

 

 

Bom furrowed her brows and turned around to find TOP making his way to her. For some reason she felt angry, she wasn't sure if she was angry at him or herself, but whatever it was he was partly at fault for what was going on between her and CL. She angrily bit her lip and turned back to the road, gathering her knees together before leaning her chin on them.

 

 

"Yah!", TOP nudged her slightly with his leg. Bom titled to the right slightly from the nudge but other than that she didn't move or even blink an eye lid.

 

 

TOP shrugged and sat down next to her.

 

Bom turned to face him, "What are you doing?"

 

"Oh she speaks!"

 

Bom's face darkened and she faced the front again.

 

"Hey", TOP nudged her again, "What's with the face?"

 

"What face?", Bom sighed.

 

"The ugly face"

 

"WHAT?!", Bom shouted angrily, "U..ugly?!"

 

TOP shrugged, "You look ugly when you're angry, I'm not gonna lie am I?"

 

 

Bom opened , but no words came out, she sighed and turned away from him.

 

 

"So", TOP said again, "Why the ugly face?"

 

"No reason!", Bom muttered.

 

"So you just make ugly faces for the hell of it?", TOP asked slightly amused at how annoyed she was getting.

 

BOm huffed and forced a thin smile, "Leave...before I K.O you!"

 

TOP started laughing loudly making Bom look at him as if he was a crazy person.

 

"What?!", Bom asked finally.

 

"No...", TOP tried to stop laughing, "You're just different."

 

Bom blinked and furrowed her brows.

 

"Never mind", TOP stood up and walked away leaving Bom confused.

 

 

"Great...ugly and different", she muttered angrily as she waited for CL.

CL walked out of the hospital and leaned on the wall for a moment. She let out a deep sigh as a tear escaped her eye. She gritted her teeth together and wiped the tear away before getting up. She started walking when she sensed someone following her, she stopped in her tracks and turned back around....there was no one there. She wiped her face and turned back to the front to find Seungri standing in front of her.

 

 

"SH!T!", CL cried out in shock.

 

Seungri looked behind CL at the hospital and then back at her.

 

"Did you follow me here?!", CL asked.

 

"Yes."

 

CL scoffed, "Let me guess, because you still don't trust me-"

 

"So I followed you to see if I could catch you betraying us", Seungri finished her sentence.

 

"You're unbelievable!", CL hissed angrily.

 

 

"Do you blame me? You haven't really done anything to make me trust you", Seungri said.

 

"If you're here for another fight, which you will lose then I'm not interested!", CL said angrily.

 

 

"What were you doing here?", Seungri asked.

 

"None of your business!", CL said with furrowed brows.

 

"You came to see your mum?", Seungri asked.

 

"How...how did you know?"

 

"I have my ways", Seungri shrugged.

 

 

CL rolled her eyes and pushed past him towards the road, "Taxi!"

 

 

"I've got my car", Seungri said as he walked up to her.

 

"No thank you." CL said

 

Seungri sighed and left her side.

 

 

 

"TAXI!", CL flapped her hand but the taxis just drove past her, "Dammit!!"

 

 

 

Suddenly a yellow lamborghini pulled up in front of her, the window rolled down and Seungri looked at her from the driver's seat, "Get in."

 

CL sighed and looked at him.

 

"Get in", he repeated.

 

CL closed her eyes for a moment, she opened them and then got into the passenger seat.

 

 

Seungri glanced at her as she looked out the window, he shook his head before starting the engine.

 

 

 

 

The journey back to the hotel was a quiet one, with neither saying anything. CL was still thinking about her mother as she stared out of the window, she clenched her jaw trying not to cry. While Seungri kept glancing at her wondering what she was thinking.

 

 

They finally reached the hotel, but neither said anything or moved. Seungri finally sighed and threw his car keys onto CL's lap.

 

CL startled slightly and looked at her lap before looking up at him.

 

"The whole journey you were trying not to cry", Seungri said.

 

CL looked down at her lap nervously.

 

"You gotta cry some time", Seungri said as he got out of the car. He looked at her before her closed the door, "Cry here, I don't mind."

 

He closed the door and walked into the hotel, leaving CL stunned. She looked back at the keys and before she knew it tears started dropping one by one onto her lap.
