I know I haven't worked on this is literally years and I apologize for that. Writer's block hit me and then I couldn't recover from it. Now, with the news about Jonghyun...

I woke up this morning to my friend posting something on Facebook that shocked me. Since you have been reading this story, I'm going to assume everyone is a SHINee fan here. By now, I'm sure you all have heard the news that Jonghyun passed away on December 18th in the evening due to suspected suicide.

The world has failed him in a way that made him feel he could only escape his troubles by leaving everyone behind. May he find the peace he needed in the afterlife.

Please please please, if anyone is so troubled and depressed, please talk to someone. Maybe you do not want to tell your family and friends, and that's fine. There are groups of strangers out there willing to hear you out and try to help you. The same treatment for one person may not work for the next. Let people help you find what works for you before resorting to suicide. God I know it's not easy. Maybe you're afraid of what people will say. Maybe you're so depressed, you're not motivated to help yourself. If you're already seriously planning suicide, talking to somebody can't make you feel worse than you already feel, can it? Talk to me if you'd like. 

In regards to this fanfic, I feel weird about writing or reading a fic about a real person who has died. How is everyone feeling?

Jonghyun, we love you. We appreciate everything you've given us in life. You did well. May you rest in peace.
