A/n: See! I did post this within a few minutes of the last chapter I posted. I don't always lie...

Twinkling lights everywhere. That’s what she saw through the haze created by the smoldering plants. At first it burned as expected: fast and unimpressive. But then, instead of the smoke floating upwards, it spread and soon a fog surrounded her. The haze smelled of herbs and was surprisingly breathable. And one by one, floating shapes the size of chestnuts illuminated the space around her. The glowing colors lilt around everywhere, some faster than the blink of an eye while others floated as slow as feathers without wind behind them.
 

The girl reached out a hand towards one of the lights of a color she couldn’t begin to describe. It warmed her fingers before floating towards her face, making her go cross eyed. She swore she heard the faintest of giggles as it flitted away.
 

The smoke dissipated and the little lights twinkled like stars that had fallen from the sky to suspend themselves inside the room. With the glows reflecting off of the mirrors and Christmas decor, the girl felt like she was in some surreal world. By now, the lights had woken up the demons and they rubbed their eyes in awe.  Luna was chasing a particular teasing glow around the room.
 

It didn’t last long though. One by one, the glows dimmed back to invisibility.
 

“Whoah. That’s cool. How’d you do that?” Jonghyun watched fascinated at the lights. “You did do this right? Since you’re not freaking out. Or should I be throwing fireballs right now?” His eyes went to her head. “And what are you wearing on your head?”
 

“What?” Mesmerized by the miniature light show, she didn’t notice Jonghyun’s waking and jumped back. “Oh...I don’t know. Faeries maybe? They gave me this....” She removed the flower wreath from her head and held it delicately.
 

“Faeries? Those were faeries?” He looked dubious but didn’t question her too much. It didn’t look like she knew the answers as she stared at the wreath in wonder and confusion.
 

“I think they’re faeries...I only saw it for a second,” she mumbled.
 

“That was so beautiful!” Taemin was wide eyed with his hand still lifted from trying to touch a faerie. “Do it again Noona!”
 

“Am I still drunk?” Onew wondered as he rubbed his eyes. “How?”
 

“I just followed the directions in the book. Fire, spirits as in alcohol, nature,” her hand waved towards the giant Christmas tree, “this weird plant, and shiny stuff” She was looking at her hands and the wreath as if they were foreign objects.
 

“Whoah….those were totally faeries. Oh my god...I saw faeries. Whoah…,” Key sat cross legged and unfocused. “Whoah...whoah whoah whoah!” He abruptly stood up. “Did faeries just jack my tree decorations?!!!! THEY TOTALLY TOOK MY DECORATIONS!”

A noticeable number of the shiny gold and silver trinkets that adorned the tree were missing.
 

“Hmm...guess faeries like shinee things,” Minho mused as Key freaked out.

Next one hopefully posted today or tomorrow. Most likely not tonight because I need to get up early tomorrow for work. I do think I have half of the next chapter written though. And then half of the chapter after that is saved somewhere on my computer.
