Really Real Thing
Stuck With Miss Despicable
The four friends sighed in exasperation. At the same time, they're extremely worried. It's been an hour yet their friend still hadn't showed up. They've been calling her phone but it can't be reached. Moreover, they had already searched within the hotel premises.
"Aish. Where is that girl?" TaeYeon asked, pulling her eyebrows together.
This already happened before that unknown to them, Sunny's been kidnapped by her psycho stalker. They didn't see her in her boutique so they just thought she was out of town for that was what she usually does. Not until the maids of the Lee residence called to inform them that Sunny was actually not home neither out of town for three days. Her parents were on a vacation in Santorini so the household called them instead. They even asked the cops for help, they'd tracked the hiding place, and luckily, the obsessed guy surrendered himself without a fight.
The weird thing is, Sunny's not hurt a little, not even touched by the guy. She said the boy treated her well, gave everything she needed, and would just stare at her the entire day.
"And where the hell would she go in particular? She didn't bring her car here. Don't tell me she got kidnapped?! Holy cow, we're not even in Seoul!" HyoYeon exclaimed as she scanned the nearby places, they were already outside the hotel.
"Yah! Don't think that way! We can only pray she's fine," Tae reprimanded.
"Oh, I can't consider the possibilities here?" the girl returned ersely.
"I didn't say that. What I'm saying is, try to be more optimistic," the now-serious-yet-often-dorky girl mused calmly. She knows it wouldn't help to be irrational this time.
HyoYeon just sighed in resignation. "I know right."
The smallest turned her head at the girl who just fished out her phone from her hand bag. "You two were just talking prior this, right?" Sunny questioned as the girl barely dialed her bestfriend's number.
"Y-Yeah. But we're just talking casually. Like the usual," the girl responded trying to remember if she had said something wrong while they were conversing earlier. But nothing came to mind.
"Shall we call the cops?" Hyo then asked.
Sunny butts in. "I don't think that's a good idea. Maybe she's just out there, shopping whatsoever."
"But we cannot even reach her phone. How can you say that?"
"You know she doesn't want to make a fuss about things. If we call the police, it'll be big and she won't like it." They knew her very well. She'd rather keep things to herself than make a big deal out of them.
When they were about to ride their respective cars, TaeYeon's and HyoYeon's to be exact, Sunny noticed a girl walking by the plant boxes not far from the hotel.
"Oh God! Look! That's her!" she shouted. "Let's go girls!" Then they ran to their friend. But one of them was not making any effort to run and was left behind.
"Ugh Jessica! Come on! Run fast! I mean, run!" TaeYeon yelled. Damn. The blonde's just walking like a cat.
"Dang. You know I don't run!" she yelled back, now walking as fast as she could. She promised to herself that she would never run. Like ever. No matter what.
But her conscience bugged her. That's her bestfriend, for Pete's sake! So she tried to run like it's her first time and succeeded.
"Hwang MiYoung! Where on Earth did you go!? We're worried like hell!" TaeYeon asked wearily at Tiffany with her face red from running. All of them were gasping for air since they're not used to run that fast.
Yet the latter just laughed her off seeing their faces, which caused evident perplexity on those countenances.
"L-Look at your faces! You all look like red monkeys!" That was Fany as she continued that loud course of laughter.
"Yah! Tiffany! That's all we get from worrying 'bout you?!" Jessica snapped, glaring. But then she noticed the pain on the redhaired's eyes, despite those smiles. "Tiff, are you okay?" she asked worriedly.
"Of course, I'm fine. I just walked around. Songdo's nice to stroll along," the girl replied then hung her head low. "S-Sorry if I got you guys worried," she mumbled. Jessica knew the girl was holding back, but she didn't push.
"It's okay, Tiff. But you could've at least told us. Your phone's not even on," Sunny scolded her.
"Aish. You're really a mushroom. But instead of popping out, you do the other way around," Hyo commented yet still worried.
"Ppany, please don't do this again. We nearly called the police," Taeng added as she gave the girl's shoulder a gentle squeeze.
Tiffany just pouted sullenly. She fought the urge to cry out loud when she saw how her friends cared for her. She's trying to compose herself because deep inside, her heart's aching for a reason. How she really wanted to tell her friends about her situation... She just can't.
"Jessica Jung!" Tiffany's reverie was interrupted when someone shouted Sica's name.
Then they simultaneously turned their heads towards the person.
"Uh oh. I-I forgot about her," they heard Jessica mumble.
"What are you doing here? I've been looking for you," YoonA asked intently when she neared them.
Anxiety was attacking Jessica while her friends just ogled at the beauty in front of them. They came late at the party and Im YoonA's already busy talking to other people. They haven't got the chance to see her this close so they were awestruck.
"Uhm... W-We were just searching for Tiffany here. We thought she's lost," Jessica answered as she glanced over her friends. How she wanted to smack them for ogling not helping her explain.
YoonA eyed Tiffany. "I see. Is she okay now?" They all nodded meekly. "Shall we proceed inside then?" They nodded once more. YoonA turned her back to them and started to walk towards the hotel. They went after her.
"Such a snob
