A 3-D movie wasn’t something you could eat at all.   In fact, it was much, much better than eating food.   …Possibly.   The two shuffled around the dark theatre as they debated on where they should be seated.   “Where do you want to sit?” Miyoung asked L. Joe, who was obediently by her side.   “Let’s sit here.” He took her arm and plopped down onto two seats in the middle. Miyoung lightly pulled her arm away and nodded, “Good call.”   L. Joe grinned as she handed him a small plastic package, “Here.”   “What’s this?” Byunghun blinked and shook the bag, “There’s something inside!”   Miyoung mentally smacked her head. *Of course there is, you doofus. I wouldn’t have given you an empty bag.*   Silently, she took the bag from him and opened it, pulling out the 3-D glasses from inside.   “You have to wear them,” she carefully instructed as she did the same to her own pair of glasses, “Or else, you won’t be able to watch the film. It’ll be all blurry and it’ll look weird.”   “Oh, I see.” Byunghun nodded understandingly, putting them on upside down, “Whoa. Everything just went dark.”   “No, not like that!” Miyoung squealed and snatched his glasses off. L. Joe watched as she slipped them right-side-up. “The curved part of the glasses goes on the bottom, got it?”   Sheepishly, L. Joe nodded. “It seems like I keep doing stupid things in your world,” he murmured. “The land of the evaders is much different. It’s like cyberspace there.” He whispered in a low voice so that nobody else could hear.   “If it’s so technologically advanced, then why don’t you even know how to clip on a seatbelt?” Miyoung joked in a hushed tone of voice. L. Joe looked embarrassed and didn’t reply.   Miyoung lightly chortled slipped on her own glasses. *Strange android.*   Just then, a couple squished past others to sit right in the aisle in front of them. The male sat in front of L. Joe, while the shorter female sat in front of Miyoung. Miyoung didn’t seem to mind as the lights began to dim and the movie started playing.   After a little while, 3-D effects began to pop out of the screen. Miyoung snuck a secretive glance at L. Joe, whose jaw was wide open.   *Whoa! Wow!* Byunghun couldn’t believe what he was seeing. Dinosaurs popped out of the screen at him, snapping their jaws. Instead of flinching, he held out a hand to ‘pet’ the dinosaur, “Nice dino!”   With an amused grin, Miyoung stifled her laughter and took off her glasses. Instead of ‘petting the dinosaur’, he was petting thin air. She looked away to contain her snickers and shook her head. *He’s so easily amused.*   Smiling, Miyoung slipped her glasses back on and faced forward to continue watching the movie.   Around halfway into the film, however, Miyoung’s attention wasn’t on the movie. Actually, it was impossible for her to even watch the film, since just a few minutes ago, the male and female in front of them had switched seats. Now, the male was in front of Miyoung, and was obscuring her view.   Slowly becoming annoyed, Miyoung stretched her neck in an attempt to see the screen. It didn’t work, however, and eventually, she just slumped back in her seat, giving up. She didn’t have the heart to tell them to move—as much as she wanted to—either.   Miyoung peeked beside her. A few more seats were available at the far back. She debated on asking L. Joe to move there, but seeing as he was so content with his spot, her words failed her.   Silently sighing, Miyoung slumped back in her seat and continued to try and peer over the tall man.   At that precise moment, the male casually slipped his arm around his girlfriend’s neck. The female giggled quietly, and Miyoung stared until he bent down and began to passionately kiss her.   Miyoung cringed at the mere sight of their silhouettes. Seriously? They were making out in a theatre filled with young children? They couldn’t save it for later or something?   Trying to block out the kissing noises, Miyoung quickly glanced at L. Joe and then did a double take. He looked shocked, but not to the point that it was extreme.   L. Joe caught Miyoung’s gaze and held it as he leaned in, “…How can a man be so aggressive? Is this type of custom normal over here?”   Miyoung almost snorted. *Custom?* She cleared , “Usually. It’s actually pretty frequent.”   L. Joe furrowed his eyebrows, “The healer district is strange. Do females like it when men slobber all over them like that?”   Miyoung couldn’t help but let out a laugh, “Not all females.”   Mischievously, L. Joe smirked, “Do you?”   Miyoung scrunched up her nose, “Not exactly. I don’t really fit the norm.” Byunghun chuckled and grinned, “Of course. You’re different.”   “So you wouldn’t like it if I acted like him?” He nodded at the man. Miyoung made a disgusted face, “Please don’t. Plus, kissing is only for couples. That couple looks like they’re each other’s faces off. Personally, I think it’s gross.”   L. Joe cracked up in a low voice. Miyoung smiled ever-so-lightly in the darkness and watched as he peered up at her through his warm eyes.
