Exo-K- Into your world
------
The sun shined over the sky, but the green leaves of their tree protected the two soulmates from getting burned.
Luhan’s right eyebrow twitched suddenly, awakening him from his deep slumber. Slowly, he opened up his eyes and looked around his verdant surrounding. *We fell asleep.* Luhan slid his gaze to a sleeping Haewon whose head was resting on his shoulder.
Cho Haewon, his one true love, his fateful match, his reason for living, his devoting wife, and the beautiful mother of his two-year-old son.
He felt content just watching her. His love for her had not dwindled since that life-changing night in Paris. If ever, his love for her had increased greatly. His heart was never, ever cold, and every day felt like paradise for him.
The wind ruffled past them, and slowly, Haewon begin to stir awake. She opened her eyes and blinked. Haewon looked up and made eye-contact with her husband. “Oh wow. How long was I out for?” She rubbed her eyes. He continued to gaze at her.
Haewon noticed that he was staring intently at her and blushed. “Why are you looking at me like that?”
Luhan just smiled softly and her cheek. *Mei li. Nǐ ràng wǒ kuàilè. Nǐ shì wǒ yīshēng de zhìài.*
(Beautiful. You make me happy. You are the love of my life.)
Haewon smiled, laced her fingers through his, and kissed the back of his hand. Together, they rose up on their feet. “How long have we been sleeping for? Do you think the kids are bored?” She asked. He read her lips and shook his head with an amused smile. “I’m sure they won’t grow bored with playtime.” Luhan wrote on her skin, and she laughed. “True.”
They turned to the trunk of the tree. Instantly, they saw their named etched onto the bark with a big heart around it. Haewon signed in content and leaned against him. Just like that trunk, their names had been carved into her heart also, and nothing could ever wipe them away.
Luhan wrapped his arms around her and leaned his cheek against the top of her head.
“Do you ever regret coming after me that night in the rain?” Haewon wrote on his back.
Luhan shook his head. “Never.” He replied on her lower back.
“Even if I yelled at you earlier that day and accused you of something you hadn’t meant to do?” Haewon questioned. She felt him nod against her head.
“You know…you accused me twice. Once in the music room for bullying you, and once right here by our tree for being an intruder.” Luhan pulled back and raised an eyebrow.
Haewon grew pink. “I didn’t know! It was dark that night! Besides, in my defense, I did not know what you looked like before!”
Luhan laughed and embraced her tightly against his chest. He kissed her forehead and rocked her side to side. Haewon beamed and wrapped her arms around his waist.
“I have a question for you. Do you ever regret leaving Canada and coming to Korea with me?” Luhan asked. His heart flipped anxiously as he waited for her answer.
“Not at all.” Haewon scribbled on his back. She pulled back and gazed affectionately into his eyes. “Everything I know and love is right here on this island. Where would I go without my heart?”
Luhan smiled softly, grateful by her kind words. He lowered his head and kissed her gently. Luh
