I put off posting this cause I like to have a chapter queue..well, that's failing as of late. But I've had samuraigirl's persistence to get me going to finish a different chapter so I can post this.

Another one of those "It had to be done" chapters..Unlocked for my RL Mari, cause without her persistence, well..this wouldn't be here ^^

“Can we stay at the dorm tonight?”

Young Bae looked up from where he was hunched over on one of the benches, sweat pouring as he eyed his girlfriend wearily.

“Since when did you prefer the dorm?”

“Well I don’t,” Lena shrugged, “But I miss seeing everyone..I don’t get to spend time with everyone like I used to.”

He took a long drink from his water bottle, eyes narrowing as he screwed the lid back on.

“I guess we can. Any particular reason?”

“Not at all. Okay, well…sort of. It involves me and you-“ He interrupted her with a quiet laugh, Lena rolling her eyes as she continued, “And Ji Yongie.”

His smile disappeared, “What?”

“You heard me. I’ve been thinking lately, and..well, it just seems like a great idea.”

Young Bae stared at her blankly as she rambled, hands wringing as she fidgeted where she stood.

“What seems like a great idea?”

“I’ll tell you later,” she said quickly as Ji Yong was approaching them, “Just make sure you shower before you get home. That’s when the fun starts,” she smiled, backing away from him as his expression turned more and more bleak.

“Hey baby,” Ji Yong smiled, hugging her and pecking her on the cheek as she waved, heading for the door of the dance studio.

Young Bae watched her go, waving back unconsciously as his friend flopped down next to him, stealing his water.

What did I just agree to?

*~*~*

“Noona we’re home!” SeungRi yelled as he kicked his shoes off, preceding his hyungs into the living room.

She sat up from where she’d been laying on the couch, watching the boys discard their bags in the front hall before joining her. Seung Hyun mumbled a hello before disappearing back the hall, presumably to sleep as Dae Sung and SeungRi argued over who could watch what on the TV.

“Why don’t you watch it in your own room?” Ji Yong sighed, sitting on one side of the brunette while Young Bae took the other.

“..Hyung’s so smart. I’ll do that,” SeungRi nodded, tossing the remote to the blonde before standing from his place on the floor, “Will noona be here for breakfast?”

Lena nodded, chuckling when he held his arms out for a hug. Doing as he requested, she smiled when Dae Sung followed quickly thereafter, the eldest of the pair getting a kiss on the cheek.

“Night boys.”

“Night noona.”

The pair meandered back the hall, SeungRi glancing over his shoulder in worry as he came to a stop in front of his door.

“What’s wrong?” Dae Sung asked, pushing his own door open.

“Did noona say something to you?”

“Yeah..but it didn’t make sense, why? Did she say something to you, too?”

“Yeah,” SeungRi nodded slowly, eyes narrowing in curiosity, “She said no matter what you hear, don’t come out of your room. What do you think she meant?”

“I don’t know,” Dae Sung sighed, “I just hope she and hyung keep it down.”

*~*~*

“I miss this,” Lena smiled, tucked into Young Bae’s side as she squeezed Ji Yong’s knee, “I never get to hang out with you guys anymore.”

“I miss my baby, too,” Ji Yong smiled, eyes focused on the television as he flipped channels.

“I want to spend more time with you. With both of you.”

“That can be arranged,” he said nonchalantly, pausing on one channel before advancing.

“Good. Cause I wanna be with both of you. Together.”

Ji Yong laughed, shaking his head as he stood to go to the kitchen, “Calm down Na, we’ll make time for you.”

As he disappeared into the next room, Lena turned her attention to her boyfriend to see a very perturbed look on his face.

“What?” she asked, watching him shift uncomfortably.

“Jagi..I love you, you know that right?”

“Yeah,” she agreed, nodding slowly, “Why?”

“Because I’m sorry but no amount of love is going to make me share you with Ji.”

“What?”

“You just said you wanted to be with us. Together. I’m not having a three-way, and I’m most certainly not doing it with my best friend.”

“Wait, so if it were someone other than Ji-“ she paused, seeing the blank look she was receiving. Lena stared at him a moment before a huge smile covered her face, “I’m kidding. But…as heartbreaking as that news is, that’s not what I was talking about.”

“Then what-“

She shushed him when Ji Yong reentered the room, stretching his arms over his head as he yawned.

“I’m going to head to bed too. Night guys.”

Lena bounded out of her seat, throwing her arms around the blonde who hugged her back happily, lifting her off the floor.

“See you in the morning, baby. Night Bae,” he waved, disappearing back the hall.

Lena watched his departing figure, listening for the sound of his door closing before she whipped around, rushing to her boyfriend.

“We don’t have a lot of time,” she explained excitedly, “Mission: Revenge is now in session.”

“Reven- What? What’s going on?”

She waved his question off as she hurried to the front hall, digging her book bag out of the closet and unzipping the panels. Coming out of one of the pockets, she fisted a handful of items carefully as she darted back the hall, Young Bae watching after her curiously. When she didn’t return immediately, he pushed off the couch, wandering back the hall to find her. His eyebrows rose as he saw her sprawled across the carpet in front of Ji Yong’s door, eyes focusing intently on the bottom of the frame.

“Jag-“

“Shh!” she whispered, cutting her eyes at him, “Be quiet!”

He stepped closer, watching curiously as she worked a push pin into the wood of the door frame about four inches off the ground. Content with this, she moved to the other side of the door, doing the exact same with another push pin. He watched as she uncoiled a length of fishing line, taking care as she wrapped one end around one pin, pulling the string tightly across the doorway and tying it off around the second pin.

Standing, she brushed her pants off, nodding in approval.

“Step one complete,” she whispered, heading back towards the living room.

Young Bae followed closely, watching her pull two pillows out of the front closet , a set of scissors from her bag. Flopping down on the floor she took the scissors to one of the cases, ripping the end open easily before rolling the cut seams down loosely.

“What are you doing?” he asked again, watching her as she headed into the kitchen.

“Exacting revenge, silly.”

“For what?”

“Chicken pox.”

He stopped following her, leaning a shoulder against the doorframe of the kitchen, “Isn’t it a bit late? That was how long ago?”

“Exactly,” Lena nodded, lifting a fan from where it had been hidden under the table.

Plugging it into the wall, she hit the power button and reached for the kitchen switch. Turning the lights on, the fan powered on as well, the brunette smirking to herself. Moving the fan to the counter top, she turned it off and sat it as close to the wall as possible before emptying the pillow’s contents onto the counter. She pushed the feathers back from the edge, picking up a few stragglers before balling the ruined pillow up and throwing it in the trash.  Angling the head of the fan to the pile of pillow stuffing, she nodded to herself, turning to see her boyfriend watching her curiously.

“What? I’ve been devising this for weeks. I’ve lulled him into a false sense of security. He thinks I forgot, but I didn’t. I told myself just wait til the scars go away..and then strike. Well guess what, Bae, they’re all gone. Every single one. And tonight, he pays, Oh, he’ll pay,” she chuckled, missing the nervous look on Young Bae’s face as he edged away. “Don’t you dare leave,” she whispered loudly, freezing him in his tracks, “You’re my escape plan.”

“Why me? I didn’t do anything!”

“I know..but I can at least throw you at him if it gives me a chance to get away, right?”

“Love you too,” he grumbled, arms crossed in front of his chest.

Lena smiled charmingly before moving to the sink. Reaching underneath she removed a spray bottle, lifting it to the light before shaking it lightly.

“What exactly is that?” he asked, watching her swirl it carefully.

“Sugar water. Welcome to phase two. This is what’s going to start the madness!”

“Goody,” he mumbled, watching her set the bottle to the side.

Young Bae watched her pat down her pockets, a cross expression on her face before she reached for her pony tail, tugging her hair out of the elastic. Taking the spray nozzle of the sink, she tugged the hose out, wrapping her hair tie around it until the button was depressed to ‘on’. Sliding the hose back into the sink, she ran her hands through her hair, tucking it away from her face as she surveyed the kitchen. Pleased with her handiwork, she grabbed the spray bottle, hooking the handle onto the back pocket of her jeans as she turned to the wall. Flicking the light switch off, she set the fan’s power to high before returning to the living room, Young Bae following with increased worry.

Grabbing her book bag, she slung it over her shoulder as she hurried back the hall, excitement evident on her face. Young Bae waited a few minutes before deciding to tag along, watching his band mate’s doors, afraid one of them would wake and blame him for what was about to happen. When he reached the bathroom Lena was putting Ji Yong’s hair dryer back under the sink, dusting her hands off on her jeans.

“Don’t you think this is kind of..I don’t know..overkill?”

“Not at all,” she shrugged past him, heading for the kitchen again,

Navigating through the dark, she reached the freezer, pulling a few items out before returning to the bathroom.

Young Bae raised an eyebrow when she opened the shower stall, emptying the contents of the six zippy bags into the bathtub before shutting the door again. Throwing the bags away, she shooed him from the room. He listened as the sound of tearing cellophane was heard, Lena murmuring to herself as she worked before meeting him in the hall. Stopping outside the door, she handed him her bag, the man holding it while she dug for something in particular. Coming up successful, she pulled the door shut until it clicked, her companion leaning to the side to watch.

Lena opened a jar of Vaseline, smearing a considerable amount around the door knob. When she was done she made a face, looking between her hand, the jar, and her clothes.

She cut her eyes to Young Bae, the singer narrowing his own at her, “Don’t even think about it.”

“No help,” she grumbled, walking past him and ducking into the kitchen.

Cleaning her hands off, Lena retrieved a roll of saran wrap from her bag, humming contently as she pushed Young Bae out of the kitchen. Taking care to tear the material carefully, she stretched it tightly across the doorway of the room, stepping back to check for any wrinkles.

“I think you’re going a little crazy, yeobo.”

“I think it’s fair. I had scars because of him.”

“…You’re not going to hurt him are you? We kinda need him.”

“No..nothing lasting,” she murmured, tapping a finger against her lip in thought.

Snapping her fingers, she retrieved the Vasoline once more, spreading a thick layer over the saran wrap before looking to Young Bae, happiness clear on her face.

“You look way too happy,” he laughed, shaking his head and swatting her hand away when she tried to clean it on his shirt.

“This is almost as good as Christmas for me,” she explained, “And you have no idea how much I love Christmas. It’s a lot, Young Bae,” she continued, expression serious, “A lot.

“Yeah..” he replied slowly, taking a step back, “When does my girlfriend come back? This one scares me.” Lena laughed, shoving him playfully as he smiled, “Will you at least be done soon? Some of us are tired.”

“Soon,” she promised, grabbing the forgotten pillow and prancing back the hallway.

Standing outside Ji Yong’s door, she placed her back against the wood, tossing the pillow on the floor a few feet in front of her. Young Bae watched as she did an awkward aerobic, acting out someone falling without doing so. Lena pushed the pillow further away from the door, eying the distance once more before nodding in approval.

“Nice of you to at least protect his face,” he teased, watching as she dug into her bag once more.

Coming out with a bottle of shaving cream she shrugged, shaking it thoroughly, “It was part that, but mostly I didn’t think you’d appreciate having to scrub this out of the carpet.”

He watched as she kneeled, covering the entire pillow case with mounds of shaving material until the can hissed and sputtered empty. Standing with a groan, Lena kissed Young Bae’s cheek and took her bag from him, headed for the living room. Zipping her bag closed, she tossed it into the closet, shoving the few coats inside to the side. Finally unhooking the spritz bottle from her pants, she cast a smile in Young Bae’s direction before turning to the hallway.

“Ji is a heavy sleeper, right?”

“Yeah, he’s the worst one to wake up..why?”

“No reason.”

Easing Ji Yong’s door open, Lena peered inside to see the room was completely dark. The leader was sprawled across the small couch against one wall in a tank top and boxers, arms and legs spread across the furniture.

“God he sleeps like an ape,” she whispered, Young Bae snickering when she stepped over the tripwire and tip toed across the room. Stopping next to his couch, she spritzed the water over the carpet as a test, the leader not stirring.

With a smirk she held the bottle over his sleeping body, spraying a fine coat of sugar water on top of him. Once she was sure he was covered to her approval, she ducked back out of the room, easing the door shut gently. Turning lights off on her way down the hall, Lena grabbed Young Bae’s hand, pulling him after her. Killing the final living room light, she pulled him into the closet with her, closing the door after them.

“Um..what are we doing?”

“Hiding, duh.”

Young Bae remained silent for nearly a minute before clearing his throat, “In the closet?”

“You got a better idea? I want to witness this.”

“You don’t even know that he’s gonna wake up soon!” he pouted, “I’m sleepy!”

“Sure I do,” she argued, pulling her phone from her pocket. Tapping a few keys, she held it to her ear.

She counted the beeps signaling a ring, the sound of Ji Yong’s phone cutting through the silence of the apartment.

“He’s not gonna wake up, he-“

Lena clapped a hand over his mouth when the phone was picked up with a groggy hello.

“Omo Yongie I am so sorry,” Lena said quickly, “I thought I was calling Bae! I’m so sorry oppa, please forgive me!”

A quiet chuckle turned into a yawn, “It’s okay baby. What..what’s up,” he stuttered, yawning again.

“I was just gonna have him see if I left my purse there..otherwise I lost it, and everything in it, ID, credit cards..I’m so screwed! But I’ll call him-“

“No, I’ll check.”

She listened to him groan as he stood.

“Don’t worry about it. I’ll just swing over before work tomorrow,” she insisted, “I’m sorry Ji..Night!”

“Night.”

She flipped her phone shut, cracking the closet door, laughing when Young Bae pushed against her, trying to see as well.

Ji Yong sat up from the couch, groaning loudly as he stretched. Relaxing, he rubbed his arms, nose wrinkling when his hands came away sticky.

“What the hell..gross,” he grumbled, “I didn’t think it was that hot in here..”

Walking towards his door, he held his hands from his sides, disgusted by the tacky feeling on his skin. Turning the door knob he pulled it open, a surprised shriek escaping him when he tripped and fell. He threw his hands out to catch himself, landing on the carpet with an oomph, his face buried in the shaving cream.

“The fuck is this?!” He shoved off the floor, wiping the foam off of his face and flicking it onto the floor. “If this was SeungRi..we’re gonna need another maknae.”

Lena laughed, Young Bae clapping a hand over her mouth as Ji Yong looked in their direction, squinting through shaving cream. He finally stepped over the pillow, grabbing for the door to the bathroom when his hand slipped off.

“OMO What is this?!” he yelled, prancing in place as he hurried to wipe the slime off on his shorts, “Omo he is DEAD!”

Young Bae shook with silent laughter, Lena grinning and shushing him as they leaned into the door to watch. Ji Yong raced towards the kitchen, his legs trying to move in front of him as he ran face first into the transparent saran wrap, falling on his butt.

“No,” he wailed, pawing at his face with shaving cream hands, smearing Vasoline off his face and across his torso and shorts.

Ripping the saran wrap off the wall, he threw it to the floor and stomped into the kitchen, swinging blindly for the switch. When the light came on, he glared at the brightness, head snapping up when the fan powered on. Feathers overtook the room, Ji Yong staring blankly at the oscillating object as the feathers adhered to his body.

“You’ve gotta be kidding me.”

He slapped at the feathers still floating about as he moved to the sink. Grabbing the dial for hot water, he turned it, a shrill scream escaping him as the hose sprang to life, water shooting at him from the nozzle. Making a weak attempt to guard himself against the water, he slammed the handle off, glaring at his now soggy shirt, water dripping from him to the floor.

“SeungRi!” Ji Yong yelled, stomping towards the hallway.

“We gotta go,” Young Bae whispered, grabbing Lena’s hand, “He’s going to tear this place apart.”

“But there’s more,” she whined as he drug her out of the closet.

Shouldering her book bag, he threw her sweater at her, grabbing his own and their shoes as he threw the door open, pushing her out. Racing to the elevator, it wasn’t until they were inside that he gave her, her shoes, sliding his own on.

“Your place or mine?”

*~*~*

“Ri! Open this door!”

SeungRi stared at the door in terror, tempted to listen but also afraid to comply.

“Noona did say no matter what,” he mumbled, pushing his ear buds into his ears and turning his iPod up, “Sorry hyung.”

Ji Yong glared at the locked door before stomping back out the hall, “Almost four a.m. and I have to shower. This is total bullshit.”

He made a face as he grasped the bathroom door again, hand sliding around until he finally had purchase enough to turn the knob. Reaching for the sink handles, he turned it on, jumping back when the water started bouncing everywhere, spraying the entire bathroom. Ji Yong swore as he turned the water off, watching it bead across the previously invisible saran wrap across the sink. Tearing it off, he threw it into the trash, grumbling to himself. Grabbing a towel from the closet, he threw it over the handlebar of the shower door. Reaching in, he turned the hot water on, closing the door as the shower ran, fogging up the bathroom. Peeling his soaked clothes off, he tossed them into the hamper. He moved to step into the shower, freezing when his foot touched something unfamiliar.

Ji Yong turned to look into the shower, heaving a sigh as he watched the already expanding shaving cream grow. With the addition of the water, it was nearly thigh deep, trying to spill out of the shower stall. Ji Yong stepped back out, pushing the door closed and shutting the water off. He wiped the shaving cream off his leg, wrapping the towel around his waist. Grabbing a wash cloth he had a make-shift shower using the sink, grumbling the entire time. He finally washed his hair, swearing at how he had to crane his neck just to rinse his shampoo out. Dragging his hair dryer from under the sink, he plugged it into the outlet. Running his fingers through his damp hair, he spiked it slightly before turning his blow dryer towards his locks. Hitting the power button, he winced when a cloud of smoke shot out of the nozzle, baby powder coating his hair, face, and chest. Heaving a sigh he let his hair dryer drop to the counter top, giving up for the night.

He drug his feet across the hall, stepping over the shaving cream covered pillow and tripwire before pushing his door closed. Grabbing his phone, he flipped it open, prepared to text SeungRi and tell him to prepare for death when he saw he had a text from Lena. Hitting view now, he waited for it to load before his mouth fell open in shock. A series of pictures scrolled past his screen, each more irritating than the last. The first was a picture Ji Yong had taken when he was picking on her chicken pox. She was curled up in a blanket on Young Bae’s couch, her boyfriend sitting in the corner of the picture with a mask on, his eyes conveying a big smile that Lena didn’t notice as she glared at the picture taker. Next was a picture of Lena wearing her book bag, a can of shaving cream in one hand as she smirked, giving a thumbs up. Then came the picture of him sleeping on his couch just an hour before, completely unaware.  Last but not least was a picture of Lena with the biggest smile he'd ever seen, one finger in particular saluting the camera.

Hitting reply, he typed his response, hitting send.

Lena flipped her open, a smug look taking over.

Please tell me we’re even.

With a chuckle she responded, closing her phone and tossing it onto the end table as Young Bae yawned, heading for his room.

Sure.

Ji Yong sighed in relief as he read and reread the message.

Good. I’m going to bed then. Night.

Closing his phone he laid it on his nightstand, pulling on a pair of shorts and a shirt.

“Here I come,” he sang, approaching his bed.

With a little jump, he launched at his mattress, exhaustion clouding his mind. As he hit the mattress, the bed shook violently, rocking back and forth before collapsing, the box spring slamming against the floor. Ji Yong lifted himself from the mattress shakily, adrenaline pumping as he peered over the edge to see the legs that had once been attached to his frame had been unscrewed.

His phone beeped loudly and he grabbed for it, flipping it open.

Now we’re even.
