Chap.6

Min Ah POV:

-At school-

I tiredly walked into class, as I was run over by screaming girls---Who were Suzy and Fei.

"MIN AHHH~~~!" Fei screamed, suzy clutching my arm. I staggered back from their death grips.

"WHO WAS HE??"

"WHO WAS HE???"

"WHO?" I shouted back. They looked at me wide-eyed, like I had just said something proposterous.

"HIM!" squealed Suzy.

Fei started squealing with her. "The tall guy with the blond-brown hair, the pink t-shirt, the vest, the awesome headphones, the---"

"-ONE WE SAW AT THE AMUSEMENT PARK~!!!" they squealed in unison.

"Oh. Him," I stated, unenthusiastically. I wanted to shrug the topic off, but as expected, my friends didn't let that happen. They stared at me expectantly, waiting for an answer.

I sighed, shook them off, and started walking towards my class. "I tripped over him at the train station."

I glanced back at them, their eyebrows raised. They were not pleased.

"And I tutor him."

Their faces brighted up.

"REALLY??" they screamed, full of enthusiasm.

"Mhm," I muttered, placing my books on the desk. They crouched beside it, peering over the side at me.

"....yes?" I questioned.

"Wanna introduce us to him?" they sang sweetly.

"Uh....I don't know him that well..." Which was true. Firstly, I had tripped on him, crashed into him, and am now his tutor? To me, that's a pretty strange way to start to know someone. And they want me to introduce them to him??? Why would anyone want to meet their tutors' friends?? Not a chance. Also, he probably hates me now, and no way am I wanting to be hated even more than I am :/

They pouted at my response, but luckily, the bell rang, saving me from being interrogated by my friends who were eyeing me suspiciously.

-At home-

I unlocked the front door, welcomed by the silence of the house. I didn't mind, since this way it'd be nice and peaceful. I kicked off my shoes, dropped my backpack onto the living room couch, and headed towards the fridge, rummaging for something edible.

I shut the fridge door, while taking out a slice of cake, when my sister came down the stairs.

"Sup sis?" I said, digging a fork into the cake. She glanced at me, then stared at me in horror.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!!" she yelled. She ran over to me, snatched the cake from my hands, and shot me a glare.

"What's wrong with eating? Is there something different about this slice of cake?" I asked, taken aback.

She blushed, her hair falling over her face, covering her eyes.

"...Ahni." With that, she tossed the cake into the garbage. "I'm going out," she mumbled, and walked out the door, slamming it behind her.

As you can tell, my relation with my sister isn't ....well, the best one there is. It has ups and downs (mostly downs), and it seems like I'm always doing something wrong. Like just now...what was so wrong about eating a cake? I sighed, no longer having the apetite to scavenge for something else to eat. I lugged my backpack up the stairs, and shut my room door behind me.

How am I supposed to do that? I tried to think of the things she liked, the things we had in common, the latest trends and news…Then I remembered. In one of our previous conversations, she had said music was her medicine, her drug. I guess I’ll be her doctor then ;]

….Jinyoung, why are you so weird?? I smacked myself on the forehead, and continued typing.

I chuckled to myself. Maybe I should check them (their songs) out. I opened a window, and searched up “B1A4”, and clicked the first search result that came up. I clicked “play”, as a catchy, upbeat tune started to play.

Hm. It sounded familiar. Where have I heard this before? I racked my brain for memories, trying to remember where I had heard it, as the chorus began to play.

I began to listen to their other songs, and there was no denying that their whole album was awesome…although I had already grown envy towards the main vocalist. Their songs were addicting—I even changed my Miss A ringtone to the chorus of “Remember”.

And In my opinion, Miss A is pretty legit. XD

I typed, my heart racing. I sat their anticipating her answer, with my hands folded together.

With that, she was offline in a split second, faster than the time it takes to blink. A wave of rejection washed over me as my heart sank to the bottom of the ocean.

Was I being just too plain creepy this time? I probably sounded like a complete pedo/creeper/stalker to her.
