Now stripped of her bodyguard duties, Byul was most definitely suffering.

She wasn't allowed to do swordplay, no horse riding, and much less touch a bow and arrow. It was horrible.

Not only that, but her rough ways had to be changed immediately because the wedding was nearing and a lot of foreign guests were to be invited. They couldn't have a rough woman for the Queen of Korea, could they?

She had to learn proper table manners, even how to walk properly with the vast volume of cloth in a hanbok. There were so many things she had to get used to and even the strong and independent Byul seemed to be facing some troubles. 

However, what made her continue with all this suffering was Baekhyun. Because she loved him, she had to become someone worthy of his status. And Baekhyun encouraged her every time she felt down, brightening her day up with his not-funny jokes and goofy smiles.

She could face a whole army head on if Baekhyun was by her side.

Almost.

Until things started going wrongly. The stress was building up so much that Byul couldn't take it any longer. Things with Baekhyun weren't looking well. Everything she thought was well seemed to be falling apart.

Would our headstrong Byul be able to save herself this time?
 

HIM: BYUN BAEKHYUN

 
He had declared himself the happiest guy on earth when Byul became his.

He never once expected himself to fall in love with that rough girl that didn't even like wearing a dress. He thought he was so so in love with another princess and swore he could lay down his life for her.

Until he realized she wasn't what he thought she was, and what he thought he felt for her wasn't exactly that either. Until he realized that his list for "Prospective-Future-Wife", of demure, gentle, kind, etc, all of them were nothing when the heart was concerned.

Because when you fell in love, it didn't matter if the other person wasn't anything close to your ideal type which you had set for yourself. No, all that didn't matter.

Because you were already in love.

Baekhyun loved Byul with all his soul and he was willing to shoot any stupid who dared whisper anything bad about Byul.

He knew she was going through a tough time, changing her ways to be a fitting queen, but honestly? He liked her as she was from the beginning.

But when trust became an issue for the both of them, and they realized that things weren't as simple as they thought it originally was, would everything turn out alright?

Will the crown prince finally be able to convince the world that his peasant girl was every bit a princess as he thought she was?
 

HIM: PARK CHANYEOL

 
He was one of the most eligible bachelors in the land until he decided to do something stupid.

Something really stupid.

He had dangered the lives of his cousin and friends and wasn't able to see the truth and justice in what he had been doing.

And he regretted it thoroughly.

Everyday he was in jail, Chanyeol regretted what he did. He loved Byul, so much. Too much that it had caused all of them sufferings.

And so Chanyeol knew that he had to let go of this love and to go in search for another.

A new love would be able to cure the pains of an old love.

What he didn't expect was for this theory to be true. And he didn't expect himself to fall in love so quickly once again. And not only that, but to fall as hard once again.

But this love was complicated as well, like the love he had for Byul before which was shared by his cousin.

In fact, this love was even more complicated than before.

Just when he thought he was having it hard, he realized it was just as hard for her.

Would he be able to survive the unexpected misunderstandings and revelations?
