Forbidden Boys

Eunbi kept herself from getting too close to Luhan ever since that incident in his room. She didn’t trust him, not after he’d blocked the door and the only way out like some human barricade. Her mother of course, wondered why she was avoiding the older male and asked several times what’d happened. Eunbi couldn’t say anything though, she was afraid Luhan would do something if she revealed what’d taken place. And honestly, the girl shivered at the thought of him taking revenge.

But everything changed the morning of her first school day. A day that turned into a catastrophe when she was forced to walk to school together with Luhan. It was like he’d decided to annoy the living hell out of her because he kept on clinging and bothering her in every way possible. “Will you shut up.” Eunbi came to an abrupt halt, her ears were hurting due to his constant nagging and she wanted no more than to arrive at school already. Anything was better than being around him. “Why? I’m just trying to brighten the mood” she rolled her eyes at him, “No, you are only making it worse.” with that Eunbi stalked off, thus leaving a slight awestruck Luhan behind. But there were another thing the girl forgot as she advanced forward.

Eunbi had no idea where her new school was located, which in turn created a huge problem once she, a while later, realized she was lost. The streets around her were unfamiliar and Eunbi couldn’t help but to curse herself for not having learnt the path to school beforehand, because it would’ve saved her the humiliation of arriving late on the first day. To call Luhan or Sehun though, was completely out of the question. Instead did she settle with trying to find the way back and then ask for directions. It worked. But Eunbi was almost an hour late and was immediately directed to the principal’s office. Not exactly the start she wanted. Much to her relief though, did the girl not receive any punishment. The principal called it off considering it was her first day and all, but that didn’t mean she wasn’t given a warning to come in time from then on.

However, the journey back to her homeroom was halted halfway there when she noticed Luhan together with a girl further down the hallway. They weren’t even subtle and Eunbi gagged at the sight of them making out with each other. It was like they didn’t even care who saw them. Either how, it was disgusting and the girl tried to ignore them as she passed them by, something that would’ve been a lot easier if Eunbi hadn’t collided with another body. The sudden incident had her completely forgetting about the other two, and she soon found herself staring into the eyes of the person she ran into. Sehun. He stood there, glaring down at her with a frown plastered upon his lips. “Aren’t you going to move?” she couldn’t help but to feel angry at him even though he wasn’t acting cocky. It was the indifference behaviour and the way he voiced out his words that’d caused Eunbi’s blood to boil. Still, the girl let it slip and thus stepped out of the way. She didn’t want to get into trouble on the first day. Luhan was another ordeal though, because he wouldn’t let it go, and did instead call out for Eunbi’s attention after he’d ended the liplock with the other girl, “getting to school was fun, right?” she shot him a hard stare, as if telling him to shut up, which he of course didn’t, “oh, and before I forget. Don’t enter my room again.” Eunbi scoffed, “like I’d ever want to step inside that dump.” before she her heel and left.

News seemed to have traveled fast, because around lunch time did practically everyone in school know her name, something that bothered Eunbi quite a lot. Not to mention there’d been several girls who’d come up to her and asked whether she knew Luhan and Sehun. Some of them even had the guts to threaten her to stay away from them. The last request however, was rather impossibly since she lived with them and all. But she didn’t tell them that in fear of being thrown off the school roof or something equally horrible happening. Not all of them acted like that though, some were actually pretty nice and welcomed her. One girl in particular promised to show her around school grounds after they’d eaten lunch.

Half an hour later she’d come to realize the area was huge, with several other structures besides the school building. “Over there is the auditorium,” the other girl, now known to Eunbi as Ahbin, said whilst pointing toward the said building, “all graduations are held in there.” she nodded before slowly letting her gaze drift over the surroundings. It was much larger than the high school she attended back in Daegu. “Come, there’s still one more place I want to show you.” with that said Eunbi was lead to another building across the schoolyard, one that housed a huge swimming pool. “Wow. My previous school didn’t even have a gym.” all these new features and various school activities were positive, especially since her life had been filled with negative stuff for quite some while now. “It’s only available for the swim team though.” oh, well. There was still plenty of other things Eunbi could participate in, “that’s understandable I guess.” she shrugged her shoulders, pushed the matter away and then directed her attention to Ahbin, “do you attend any after school activities?” delighted to have been asked the other girl began, in a rather thrilled voice, explain how she took part in the school’s photography club. “Actually, we’re in need for one more person if you’re interested?” Eunbi nodded but didn’t say anything. She weren’t certain whether photography was something for her. “At least think about it.”

The two of them continued the tour for awhile after that, and Eunbi came to like the school more and more. She even thought it would be worth it despite having Luhan and Sehun lurking around the same hallways as her. Speaking of those two, Eunbi spotted the latter heading for the gym, which in turn sparked her curiosity. For Sehun to be a part of the swim team seemed impossible. But then again, she barely knew anything about the said male and what he was up to. Hell, she had no idea who he socialized with and where he disappeared off to. “Sehun, is he on the swim team?” she’d never been afraid to ask if something didn’t make sense or bothered her.

Ahbin laughed wholeheartedly, a reaction Eunbi hadn’t expected. “Him. Right. He would make a great swimmer considering he’s a smoker and all.” what caught her attention wasn’t the sarcasm, but the words of Sehun being a smoker, and suddenly did all those days he came home reeking of smoke make sense. “He’s too young to buy cigarettes though.” not even Luhan was allowed to buy them and she doubted their father would go so far as to provide the male with those cancer sticks. “Yeah but I he has a fake id.” what? How had he managed to get a hold of a fake id? “Heh, I wasn’t supposed to say that, so could you keep it a secret?” Ahbin pleaded, her older brother would kill her if he knew she’d revealed his so-called secret, but highly illegal, income. “Y -yeah sure.” Eunbi agreed, she was too occupied with her own thoughts to spot the concerned expression on the other girl’s face, and did therefore not even react when Ahbin heaved a sigh of relief. She was slowly beginning to understand what he was up to after school and during weekends. Where he went and why he came home in the middle of the night. A fake id could grant him access to a lot of stuff he normally wouldn’t be allowed to do. Like buying cigarettes, getting him into nightclubs and letting him purchase alcohol.

“Eunbi? Eunbi? The bell is ringing.” she shook her head as to clear away those thoughts before meeting Ahbin’s gaze, “right.” for some weird reason did she glance over to where Sehun vanished off to, only to see him appearing from behind the gym with a girl following close behind. The sight of the two surprised Eunbi, more so since she had no idea he had a girlfriend. “That’s Yuna. Sehun’s number one fangirl.” how fun for him. “Luhan have a couple of them, too.” oh, this was just getting better and better. “Anyhow. We should get going so we’re not late.” said and done, they began to make their way back inside.

I kinda sad actually that most of my fav fics are gone its either bc of the author deactivated their acc or put it in draft (revamp reason) or more heartbreaking, they just delete it (T_T)
