A physical injury can heal itself. After some time every wound, every broken bone heals. But mental wounds? Time cannot heal wounds in the heart. It can only make one believe that the pain is slowly abating, but that doesn’t mean the wound is really healed by the end.

 

 

 

Hey, lovely readers! 

I finally managed to start the Heart of Ice side-story featuring Lay x Fei. Sorry for taking so long, because the winter holidays are over school keeps me a bit busy and also my new main fic. 

This is a 'Thank You' for all your support! Yesterday Heart of Ice surpassed 300 subscribers, and I just had to neglect other stuff and push me in front of my laptop to start this. This will be slightly darker than Heart of Ice, but not less romantic.

PS: If you're not a reader from Heart of Ice, I recommend you to read it, since reading this first would give you spoilers regarding Heart of Ice. But you're free to do what you want.

 

Foreword

This is a Heart of Ice side-story, hence it plays in the same fictional world. It plays between Fei's arrival in the circus and the drama regarding the revolution in H.o.I., so don't get confused. Heart of Ice ended when it was December in that world. In this fanfic it should be around the beginning of November. (:

Chapter 7: Omg. The ending was so cute! Lay, dude, you don't know how much these fanfics make me love you. So SWEET. Not too overwhelming though, it was a light kind of sweet. Yeah.

...you know what I mean.

Some things reminded me of "Flower of Despair", specially when Lay mentions that Fei should just consider him as the wind and talk. The concept is cool, I won't deny it.

The story itself had that deep touch, but to my mind, it was a bit more light-hearted than the ones you usually write. I still loved it, it gave a warm feel.
