PROLOGUE

Song Qian

I woke up, and found that I’m on the bed myself. Where’s Khun? He has not woken up earlier than me before. I walked out of our bedroom, trying to find him anywhere in our apartment, but no, he’s not at home. Just then, I heard the sound of keys and the door opening, and saw him walking in.

“Where did you go early in the morning Khun? I thought something happened to you.” I went forward and hugged him. I would always hugged him whenever I’m scared, and he would always hugged me back, letting me know he would always be there for me. This time, he did not hug me back. I slowly release the hug and looked up at him.

“I went somewhere.” He stated, not actually telling me where he go. He would always tell me the exactly where he went, and tell me what he did there. This time, it’s different. I can feel it. His face remained emotionless. He’s not treating me like how he used to, and it scares me.

“Did something happen? You seem… so not yourself…” I said, caressing his cheeks. He pulled my hands away, and walked into our bedroom. I stood there, not following him. What did he treat me coldly? Did I done something wrong? We have not quarrel for these past few days either. I quickly stop thinking of these unnecessary bad thoughts and quickly followed him.

I quickly walked towards our bedroom, wanted to ask him again. When I was in front of our bedroom, the door opened. He was holding onto a luggage. The first thing I thought of was… are we going somewhere?

“Are we going somewhere? I’ll go and packed my thi-”

“No Qian. I’m leaving.”

His statement shocked me. So he’s leaving me?

“Le..Leaving?” I’m on the verge of tears. He remained silent. After a few moments of silent, he finally spoke, but he said something that I do not want to hear from him.

“Let’s break up.” He said coldly.

“Break…Break up? W...Why? Did I do something wrong?” I asked him, tears already started to roll down. Why is he leaving me so suddenly? His coldness… his statement shocked me.

He look at me, and tell me the reason for his decision. My tears stopped. I can’t find myself to speak. Then he left.
