He used to be bullied by the kingkas in school until you two started dating and for obvious reasons, they stopped.

The reason you fell in love with him was because he was the only one who liked you for who you are, who appreciated and loved the real you, not the cool, popular persona you put up with all the time. He has a really cute looking appearance and could possibly be even considered handsome if he decided to do away with the nerd get-up.
