Ice Skating and... Fighting?

Description

After a nice dinner and a not so successful attempt at ice skating, Leeteuk would like nothing more than to make it home with his boyfriend, Sungmin, to nurse his wounded pride.  The couple are well on their way until they are rudely harassed by a small group of young men who apparently have too much time on their hands.  Will Leeteuk be able to keep his temper in the face of their obscene comments, and if not, what will happen next?

So my first TeukMin oneshot with a bent towards drama, a dollop of action, and a smattering of humor.  I hope you enjoy.  :)

 

As a side note, I'm really trying to work on broadening my horizons for my antagonists.  >.>  I haven't been very successful yet.  lol

Chapter 1: Ahh, great job. The ending is toned down and more realistic. It suited the fic a lot more! I approve greatly! Oh but you should update it so people can see the new edited version! :)

Chapter 1: another interesting curve-ball. I like how Leeteuk isn't the best protector in this case and its actually Sungmin...who totally suits the kick type.
It was really sweet and I feel like giving you a clap on the back for mentioning about the discrimination by the other guys.
Its not something attempted that much and can be quite hard to do, but you did it really well and it weirdly felt like Geng and the others were chavs from over here. I could picture it perfectly...arseholes.
Its a weird thing to add to fluff though, I mean the whole situation is pretty terrible. Its very serious and people are still subjugated to abuse about ual preferences. Plus in reality there would be police involved and Leeteuk would probably have to go to hospital etc etc...

Its not something I would class as fluff because of the serious issue embedded in here. That and the violence.

However as a piece of fiction you can get away with a little more freedoms. I did enjoy the story, the ending was sweet but I personally found it contradicting with the everything else beforehand.
I still enjoyed it a lot and the imagery is spot on as always.

Oh and one more thing what on earth is a toboggan? I mean isn't it just an Olympic sport? All I can picture is someone wearing a large wooden thing for going down snowy slopes on their backs LOL.
In some cases, it can seem a little pretentious if you use a term for something that others may not understand..like me. I mean we don't call any kind of jacket toboggans over here so I was staring at for a few seconds going eh? LOL
Sometimes simplicity is often the best way. I know it may not be something your particularly happy about as your quite wordy, but using simpler terms doesn't make you seem simple. :)

Oh I enjoyed your writing style and chapter length once again. Great job on keeping it compact and easy to follow.
