Introduction
Yuri watched her as she slumped her body on the couch and rubbed her
temples. She must admit that she missed her. It's been a while since they were
left alone in their apartment without the other members.
They were once so close; they shared their worries, happiness, secrets and
love together. Whenever she cried, Yuri offered her shoulders. Whenever she
needed support, Yuri would give her love and encouragement. Whenever she
needed to talk to someone, Yuri gave her, her full attention.
They always trained together never leaving the other alone during their trainee
days. When no trainees would approach her since she had a cold attitude,
Yuri befriended her. When trainees would insult her, and make fun of her
American/Korean accent, Yuri defended her. And finally when they realized they
would be debuting together, both of them made a promise to always be there
for each other.
When they debuted rumors started spreading about her and other men from the
same company, having affairs. It broke her down, but Yuri stood by her side and
helped her get back on her feet. Holding hands became a habit of theirs in front
of the public and at home. Even the other members knew that both of them
were inseparable.
As time passed by, the love between them started to fade. Yuri didn't know
what happened between them, but she knew it all happened during the time of
the Genie promotions. After their popularity grew, she became distant from
Yuri. She started spending most of her time with Tiffany or Yoona; whenever
she needed a shoulder to cry on she went to Tiffany. Whenever she needed to
talk to someone she went to Taeyeon, and that angered Yuri. Why did she
break the bond between them? Why did she leave her all alone? Did she do
something wrong? Questions after questions kept popping in Yuri's mind yet
she couldn't find the answer for anyone of them.
Yuri couldn't take it anymore, she couldn't bear the fact that it wasn't her hand
she was holding, it wasn't her body she was cuddling, and it wasn't her who
she loved.
For many months Yuri tried to hide her pain, but the hole in her heart couldn't
withstand the pain any longer. She needed to release the pain and anger.
After months of wandering the streets at night, she had finally found a way.
A small club, located in a district nearby the apartment, filled with alcohol and
girls. She never knew it would have ended like this, but it just happened so fast.
Ordering drink after drink, then hitting the dance floor, and finally choosing from
a selection of girls who her one nightstand would be.
Yuri must admit that this has become a habit of hers; every time she swore to
herself she would stop this act only to find herself locking lips with another
woman in the club.
She wouldn't have ended up like this, if only she didn't distance herself away.
