What They Say.

Description

U_U a story I got from an 'society' meme.

.-. I tried to finish it yesterday and this story was reported as plagirism so... I dunno.

Just in case, this is based off a meme so I won't really take credit for the idea. I wrote it. The idea was from... Someone .-. I have no idea who.

Foreword

There was a husband and his wife, headed to their hometown for the holidays. They rode their donkey there, both husband and wife on its back.

The people watching them pass whispered and pointed saying "Two people on one small, old, donkey. The poor animal. How could they be so cruel?"

The wife got off the donkey and walked beside it, afraid that the donkey would tire. It was just a poor animal after all, she has to be more considerate.

The people watching them pass pointed accusingly saying "How could the husband be so rude? Letting a lady walk like that. He's such a terrible husband. No manners really, taking the comfortable way himself."

The husband got off the donkey and offered the wife to ride instead.  After all, he couldn't be so inconsiderate as to let a lady walk on her dainty feet. He would walk instead, because he needed to be a gentleman.

The people watching glared, shocked and pointing. Saying "How could a couple walk seperately?  They don't even look like a couple. It looks like the man in a guide and the lady a tourist. How could the man let the lady ride by herself?"

The wife got off the donkey to walk with her husband. She should toil together with her husband instead of being comfortable by herself.

The people passing stares, pouting and saying "Look. Those foolish people are taking a donkey but not even using it. What's the point of having a donkey then? They're so stupid, that couple."

This is our society.

Chapter 1: This is really good omg.. It's written so artistically and .. It's just amazing!
Why don't you have more comments?! Omg
I love how you showed the progression of their relationship and how at the end they basically ended up where they stared... Not caring what everyone else thinks and just going with what they think is right.
:') this is beautiful <333

Chapter 1: Wow, this is exactly what society is like
I judge in the same way, I seem to think I am the worthy of an opinion on someone else's relationship when it has nothing to do with me
Very clever and very well written
It would be nice to learn not to care what others think
I need to try and do this >.<
