He walked infront of the gray, creeky mansion down the paved cemet path. He passed a few gravestones along the way- no wait, about twenty gravestones- while walking towards the eerie house that seemed oh-so-intimidating. Flashlight gripped in hand, he stepped onto the first indigo, chipped plank of wood, shivering at the noise it made before giving way and snapping in half. He skipped the next few and stalked his way across the porch to the nearest window, glass broken years ago. He his flashlight and shone the luminescent  beam across the room. In the corner there was a large brown dog, it's head lifting up to look over to where he stood in the window.
The dog let its tongue fall from its mouth and pant happily at the newcomer. They hadn't had company in so long...
