“Oh My God, look at this.” you heard some girls whispering

“Omo!” another gasps

“Yah! Yah! Look here.” a guy said

“Hyo Ri-ah, I think this is what they got.” Min Jung showed you her phone and it was a picture of Kris and Ji Min hugging and when Ji Min made Kris face her; with her hand cupping his face

You suddenly receive a message and click it open to see the same picture “Yeah…”

“He dumped you for Ji Min, well, that’s good, he deserves someone on the same level as he is.” a girl snickers and walks pass you

You walk towards her and pull her to face you “Wrong info. I. Dumped him.” you smiled “And because, well it’s obvious, he cheated.”

“He cheated because he realized he’s way out of your league.”

“Maybe, but he doesn’t know what he just lost.” Min Hyun stares bluntly at the girl

“Oppa…”

“We’re born on the same year, don’t call me oppa, it’s disgusting.” Min Hyun grimaced

“Yah, Hwang Min Hyun, are you her boyfriend?” a girl interrupted

“You know, there’s nothing wrong if I’m protecting my best friend.” he scoffs

“But it’s like you’re in love with her.” another crosses her arms

“Just because I rejected you, it doesn’t mean you can accuse me of something.” Min Hyun gave her a sarcastic pitiful look; she gawks at him “No hard feelings.” he gave a small smile and walks off

“Wow, Hwang Min Hyun cares for you.” Min Jung smiled “I’m guessing that’s why you fell for him before?”

“Yah, and no, that’s not why.” you roll your eyes

“Then what’s the reason?”

“I don’t wanna talk about the past, we’re here, in the future, the present time, so let’s forget…” you trailed off when you saw Kris walking your way

Everyone turned their heads to see the ‘drama’ between the both of you continue but Kris just walk pass you without looking and you were somehow glad, eventhough it hurts after what has happened.

“I can feel the dark aura between you two.” Seul Mi slips in between you and Min Jung

“I didn’t see you coming.” you chuckle

“That’s because you’re too distracted by your arch enemy.”

“He’s not my enemy.”

“Not convinced.” Min Jung and Seul Mi said in unison

“Fine, have it your way.” you playfully push them

Two weeks had passed since that day, nothing happened between you and Kris. You grow closer with Min Hyun and Luhan. They both spend a lot of time with you and it felt like a miracle when Kris didn’t show up in your mind for a few minutes, sometimes even hours.

“Where?”

“The gym, I’m going to have a quick shower, wait me in there.” Min Hyun said on the end of the line

“Okay, bye.” you ended the call and walk into the empty gym
