You walk up the stairs to the rooftop where you see Luhan was heading and gently peek through the door to see Luhan staring into the distance with his arms placed on the rails.

“Luhan…” you softly called out and he turns to you slowly “Are you okay?” you ask him

“I’m fine… Sorry for what happened back there, I kinda got carried away.” he chuckles half heartily

“You know, you didn’t have to protect me, I could’ve sworn I would’ve slapped Kris right there.” you said playfully

“He was hurting you Hyo Ri, he plans to make you embarrassed in front of the entire school and I would never let that happen especially when you don’t deserve it.” he looks concerned

“I don’t think he ever loved me, maybe he did felt something but after the fight, I’m not so sure myself.” your gaze fell down

“Hyo Ri, he’s stupid for doing these horrible things to you…”

“Luhan, why do you care so much about me?” you look into his eyes

“Because, I…” *Say it Luhan, say that you love her, here’s your chance.* “I know you’ve hurt enough, I really wanna take care of you and I’ll do anything so you won’t get hurt.” *Stupid Luhan, you’re such a coward. Why can’t you be selfish just this once?*

“Thank you… Luhan.” you hold his hand and hug him

He closes his eyes and hugs you back; somewhere in his heart, he didn’t wanna let go because knowing that you’ll never belong to him makes him wanna take you away and hide you from the world to have you all for himself but he’s not going to be selfish and think of his own feelings. What about yours?

*Because if I tell you my true feelings, it’ll burden you and you’ve had enough.* he hugs you tighter

“Now come on, I’m sure our class teacher would want us back in class.” you pat his back but he didn’t answer “How long are you planning to do this?” you raise a brow

“Shh, stay quiet, you’re ruining the peacefulness.” he pokes your waist

“Yah!” you push him away “You’re so clingy lately, do you know that?” you put your palm on his forehead “That’s weird, you don’t have a fever.” you snort

“Oh but I got bitten by a love bug and so I’m lovesick.” he said quickly and grins

“What?” you look at him weirdly

“Nothing.” he winks “Let’s just go.” he holds your hand and walk down the stairs with you
