A kingka falling for an average girl; a typical love story with a few twists to it.

The rain was pouring down on that cold bitter day. She was waiting for her brother to pick her up. He told her that he would be late but to wait for him near the school gates.

Twenty minutes has passed; she was the only one left at the school waiting for her ride to come. She saw a somewhat familiar Kia Sorento slowing down making a full stop near the school gates. Someone walked out with an umbrella already in hand. The person quickly opened it and held it over their head.

"Must be Joonie oppa" she thought aloud. Still believing that that person was her brother, she slowly approached that person. She used her backpack to keep herself from getting soaked.

She stopped in her steps as soon as she could recognize that individual.

Junhyung.

"What are you doing here?" she was surprised to see him there. Junhyung actually came here all thanks to Ji Eun. She felt bad for him, and so she finally gave away her friend's whereabouts.

"We need to talk" he started to say.

"There's nothing for us to talk about" she was getting tired of this. She tried to leave,

"We were doing fine before. I liked you, you liked me. Why are you now all of a sudden acting like this?" Junhyung didn't understand.

"I don't like you. I don't like you, what part of that do you not understand?" she tried not to look away. If she did then he would automatically know that she was lying.

"Liar" he simply said.

"You don't know me like that Yong Junhyung. So don't just casually stand here and accuse me for being a liar" she held onto her backpack.

He grabbed her shoulders,

"Fine, I'll take it as if you don't like me. But, I like you. I really like you, so why can't you like me?" he asked her.

"Junhyungie oppa, hello? Oppa, pick up, pick up. It's me, Hara. Oppa, pick up. Honey?" his phone started to sound.        

"Because you have her" she looked right at him. "Is that enough of an answer for you?" she pulled away from his grasp.

Junhyung rejected the call and hastily put his phone in his backpocket.

"I will break up with her. For you, I can let her go. Isn't that enough evidence of how much I like you?" he rhetorically asked her.

"I never wanted you to like me and I definitely don't want you to break up with her"

She could hear her brother honking to get her attention. She tried to leave but Junhyung held her back.

"Junhyung"

"Uh" hope was glistening in his eyes.

"Please do both of us a favor. Erase me out of your memory" she said before she pulled away from his grasp for the second time.

Junhyung held her hand back, "I can't do that"

"Let go" but he didn't.

"Aren't you going to let go?" he shook his head. She kicked him in the knee, hard and turned around to leave.

"Lee Chaeri" he cried out in pain. "Are you really going to be this cold-hearted?"

She ignored him and continued to head towards the gates. As she walked away, tears strolled down her cheeks. Her tears blended with the pouring rain. "I never wanted for us to end like this. Funny how I'm even saying this, because this so called love never began in the first place"
