Siwon Choi, age 30. (Kris’s older brother and Victoria’s childhood friend.)

Siwon is the first born son of the Choi family. His father is the owner of a hotel chain in Korea and his mothers’ parents (his grandparents) are the owners of the well-known Samsung brand. Since Siwon’s father had to take over his own parents business (the hotel chain) Siwons’ grandparents expected him to take over their Samsung Company after he graduates from college. At the age of 25, Siwon became the youngest CEO to take over Samsung. Within a 3 year span after taking over Samsung Siwon has almost doubled the Samsung market value.  Aside from managing Samsung he also invested his money in several joint partnerships with other businesses in Korea and overseas. All these smart business investments made him into one of the youngest multi-millionaires by the age of 30.

Siwon has been in love with someone once, but that was all in the past. Now he consider love to be troublesome and unnecessary. He likes the idea of without any attachments or complications.

Kris Choi, age 27 (Siwon’s younger brother and Victoria’s childhood friend.)

He’s the second son of the Choi family. His parents and grandparents were always comparing him to his brother Siwon when they were younger which ended up causing a strain on their relationship. After graduating from college with an International Business and Business Management degree, Kris joined his father’s hotel company.  

Kris was in love with someone once, but she broke his heart.  He has slept with and dated many girls over the years as a way to erase the memory of that one girl. To him, with or without love are all the same.

Victoria Qian Song, age 26 (Kris and Siwon’s childhood friend. Gyuri’s roommate and best friend)

Victoria’s father is the owner of an international pharmaceutical company and her mother is the owner of a famous makeup company. Because Victoria’s parents were constantly traveling and working, she became independent at a young age. At the age of 16, Victoria left Korea and study abroad, attending a boarding school in New York. She graduated with a Medical Degree and has had completed her pediatric residency training before returning to Korea. During her college years Victoria was so preoccupied with school and extracurricular activities that she never has had time for relationships.

Victoria isn’t interested in love. She has fallen in love once and to her once was enough.

Park Gyuri, age 26 (Victoria’s roommate and best friend)

Gyuri’s father owns several car dealerships in America and her mother is a famous fashion designer. Following in her mother’s footsteps Gyuri wanted to study fashion design. After graduating from college, she interned for Vogue in the US and after two years she was offered an Editor-In- Chief of Vogue position in Korea. She met Victoria in America, when they were both 11 years old. Gyuri’s mother and Victoria’s mother were good friends in college and every summer when Victoria’s mother went to visit her friend, she would take Victoria along. Victoria and Gyuri kept in touch throughout the years with summer visits and emailing. Gyuri the only close female friend Victoria has.

Gyuri loves to date good looking men; especially good looking men who are skilled in the bedroom. She believes that one must have chemistry in the bedroom in order to have chemistry anywhere else.
