We were young... Lived as goddesses in Asia. 

Until it hit us. But don't worry.. We'll be fearless..

Bright, white lights shone into my eyes. 

Her hand wrapped around mine, and I tightened my hold on hers, securing her everything was going to be okay. 

The curtains rose, exposing us to a roaring crowd. And I could feel her hand slip out of mine. 

I tried to hold on to her, but I couldn't as she stepped away from me, taking her own position on stage. 

Little did I know that this was one of the last moments I'd ever get to hold that hand.
