During the entire meeting Kris couldn’t focus.

All he could think about was you.

Is she awake yet?

Is she okay?

Did she make up with Tao?

Is she still upset with me?

Strings after strings of questions became entangled in his mind.

None of them, however, pertained to the meeting that he was currently attending.

“Mr. Wu?”

The man repeated for the nth time during that meeting.

“Huh? Oh, yes. I’m sorry.” This was the line that Kris had repeated in return for the nth time during that meeting as well.
