Happiness...

 

Bird chirping and children laugh fulfil the silence at the hospital park. Sica is just staring blankly at the grass below her shoes. She just can’t process all the news Chansung told her before.

 

*Sica Flashback*

 

I’m rushing to hospital after meeting with Jiyong. Everything clears now. Jiyong admit that he date that Japanese girl long before the news come out. So we decide to break up. Now I just wait for Jay to come back.

 

I’m grip the doorknob when I’m heard Chansung yelling.

 

“Don’t call my name…” Chansung step backwards. “You lied to me all this time. You hurt all of us. Me, Jay Hyung, Sica Noona…”

“I’m sorry…”

“No…you’re not”

 

I saw Chansung run out the room and bump to me. I clearly can hear SooYoung’s cries.

 

“Sica Noona…” Chansung clearly don’t expect me to be there.  He runs from me. I chase for him.

 

“Chansung-ah… Chansung, stop.”

 

He stops his step and sat on one of the bench at the park. I sit slowly beside him. Trace of tears clearly on his face.

 

“Chansung-ah… What happen?”

 

Chansung hide his face with his hand and try to muffle his cries.

 

“She lied. Noona… She lied to me, to Jay Hyung. She lied to all of us.”

 

I try to not interrupt him but I become curious.

 

“About what?”

 

“The baby was mine.”

 

Chansung stand and let a loud sigh. I just can’t believe.

 

 “I don’t understand, Chansung-ah.”

 

“She was pregnant to my son. My son, Noona. My son.”

 

“But Jay…”

 

I gasp as realization hit me.

 

 “Oh my God… that’s mean nothing happen between them.”

 

Chansung frown at me.

 

“Chansung-ah, Jay told me he don’t remember anything about that night. He just assumed that something happen between them. That’s why he believed that baby was his.”

 

I try to grab Chansung’s hand to comfort him.

 

“She just confuse that time. Helpless. Maybe she just doesn’t know what to do. Jay was there for her so maybe that time it was the best thing for her.”

 

Chansung step away from me.

 

“I don’t even know what to believe now. She’s destroyed everything. I can’t trust her again. She’s hurt me. She’s denied my right.”

 

“Give her a chance to explain. She love you, you know that.”

 

“Love??? I bet she never know what its means.” He walks away before turn again. “Noona… I wish I have a big heart like you. Just wish someday I can forgive her.”

 

Chansung left me there dumbfounded. Looks like he’s really hurt this time.

Sica sigh. She takes her phone. She got a text from Fany.

I need to tell you something.

Chansung already told me.

He really hurt, Fany-ah.

I don’t dare to go to SooYoung.

I bet she’s really in mess now.

Sica walk slowly to SooYoung’s room. She’s stop a while to calm her heart before step to SooYoung’s side. She’s sleep already. Her face still wet from all tears from before. Sica sit beside her.

 

“Channie… Channie… Please forgive me…”

 

Sica startle to hear SooYoung’s voice. It’s really slow and become clear as she scream in her sleep.

 

“Soo… SooYoung… Wake up… That’s just a dream.”

 

SooYoung blink her eyes before burst in tears again.

 

“Unnie… Mian… Chincha Mianhe…”

 

She’s holding to Sica with her shaky hands.

 

“Shhh… It’s okay… Everything gonna be okay. Believe me.”

 

Sica stroke her hair to calm her. She’s wipe her tears. Even she want to mad at SooYoung, her heart just can’t do it. She knows what all of they went through is nothing compared to SooYoung.

 

“Unnie…” SooYoung whispers. “I’m really sorry. Please don’t leave me. Channie already leave me…”

 

“I’m here, Soo-ah. I won’t go anywhere.” Sica give her assurance smile. “About Chansung, just give him time alone. He will back to you.”

 

“I lied to him. I hurt him.” SooYoung cries again. “I don’t deserve him.”

 

“Just sleep. Tomorrow we will find a way to make him forgive you.”

 

Sica pat SooYoung’s hand to make her calm and sleep. Sica is stare at her sister face when her phone ringing.

 

Incoming Call… Jay Baby

 

Sica step outside the room to answer it.

 

“Hi…”

“Babe… I miss you.”

“I miss you too. Baby… I broke up with Jiyong.”

“…”

“Baby… Please say something.”

“Sica… I love you. Will you be my girl forever?”

“I… I don’t know.”

“Just say yes…”

“Hmmm…”

“Do you love me?”

“I do love you…”

“Then say yes…”

“Yes. Yes.”

“Babe… I love you. I wish I’m there now.”

“Baby… listens.”

“Hmm?”

“SooYoung… she…”

“I know. But Fany told me she’s fine. Right?”

‘Look like he doesn’t know yet.’ Sica sigh. “Right, she’s fine. When you’ll back?”

“Soon babe… soon.”

“I miss you.”

“Sica-ah… I have a song for you. Listen okay…”

 

Sica sit when she hears Jay’s voice. She closes her eyes.

Sica wipe her tears. She really worried what will happen when Jay knows the truth. She does really don’t want anything bad happen between him and SooYoung. She really needs to talk to someone. Sica send a text to someone she really trust. She’s smile when she got a reply. They will meet tomorrow.
