Minho is an Outlaw and a famous one at that, even more so that he's barely out of his teens and is causing the authorities heaps of trouble and has been for years. However as an Outlaw his name is masked by an alias and he wears a mask around his eyes. He has, as you would call it, a secret identity and has a normal life in the town in which he lives. He holds up stage coaches, steals from the rich and distrubuts what he "earns" amogst the pesants. 

He is not alone though, with him on all his ventures are his loyal companions; Key, Jonghyun and Onew.

Taemin's father is the brother to the king of england, making the king his uncle. The King has two brothers, the first being Taemin's father and the second being their younger brother. 

The youngest of the three brothers is weak in both body and mind. Where both his elder brothers were built and ready for battle, his feebler one wasn't. Because of this he became ridiculously jealous of both his brothers, especially the eldest who went onto become king. He is completely different to both his brothers who are kind hearted and brave. 

This man rules over the region in which Minho lives and is the reason for him being an Outlaw. The people of the region are treated unfairly and harshly (think sheriff of Nottingham in Robin Hood). 

There is a war waging over seas and both Taemin's father and the King are fighting in it and because of this Taemin is sent to live with his uncle along with his older sister.

Upon entering the region, their stage coach is stopped by Minho. He goes to steal from the occupants of the coach but when he sets eyes on the elder sister he is taken back and becomes infatuated with her (initally) and lets them go, claiming to himself that he will win her heart especially considering who her uncle is, the challenge is intriguing. 

Taemin hates his uncle and the fact he has to live with him. Also he finds spending time in the castle boring and quickly finds passages underneath it leading to freedom. He dresses as a commoner and goes into town, where he meets Minho as himself. They become friends and they become close leading to Taemin becoming an outlaw too. After this he sneaks out everyday to spend time with Minho and soon Minho begins to question who it is he really has feelings for... the lady of the castle or a peasant boy? And what'll happen if he finds out the truth? Worse... what'll happen if Taemin's uncle was to find that not only in the nephew of the king an outlaw but is also infatuated with another male?
