Making Everything Clear

"Yoong? I was saying nothing. Don't freak yourself out. Go back to sleep, Choding." She said a bit shakily.

"Don't Choding me. I heard every single word. How he asked you out and everything." Yoona said.

Jeesica remained silent, so she continued. "Unnie. Remember this. Donghae is using you as his rebound. I mean, no guy would ask some girl out the day he has just broken up with his girlfriend."

Jessica froze. "Aniyo. He wouldn't do that. Donghae is..."

"Is what? Different, unnie? No way. He's using you. Why don't you just accept it?" Yoona almost screamed at her.

Jessica ran off to her room, speechless and helpless. She cried herself to school.

"Unnie, Donghae oppa is waiting for you outside." Sooyoung told Jessica.

"Oh. Yeah. Tell him I'll be right out, Sooyoungie."

"Hey Sooyeon!"Donghae greeted.

"Hmm." Jessi murmured, not in the mood.

On the way to carnival, Jessica remained silent.

"Sica? Is there something wrong? Don't you want to go to the carnival?"

"Um, not at all. It's just that..." Jesica trailed off, unable to continue.

"That what?" Donghae asked.

Jessica took a deep breath. "It's just that, Yoong talked to me last night and toldmeyouarejustusingmetoforgetherbutIthoughtthatwasstupidandyou'dneverdothatbutshetoldmeitwastrue." She said, just a little quickly.

"Oh. She told you that? Well..."

"Well what? Is it true? Are you just USING me? Are you just using me to freaking forget freaking IM YOONA?!?!!" She screamed at him, cold tears pouring over her cheeks.

"Jessi... no. I'm doing this because, well, because I want to show you that I can be a good friend to you. I mean, you were always there for me, ready to help, even though I frequently ignore you. I want you to know that you will always have me, a friend who's always there for you, just like you are to me." He said, a bit embarassed. He wasn't into expressing his feeling very much.

"Really?" Jessica sniffed, still not very much convinced.

"Really, truly, honestly." Donghae said solemnly.

''Um. Okay." Jessica said. "And I'm sorry. For what I said a while ago."

"I'm sorry too." Donghae told her. "For making what I'm doing look like I'm just using you."

Jessica looked out the window. "Oh hey, We're here!"

And their smiles that were uncertain before grew into smiles of pure pleasure.
