October 31, 2005, Halloween
It was Halloween, one of my closest friends and I was finishing up some homework in my parlor, before we were going to get ready for a Halloween party. While we were finishing up our homework my friend asked me about how my date with this guy went, I told her it was fun and I was meeting him tonight at the party.
"Misun, I am a little hungry and thirsty, do you mind getting me something while I used the bathroom?" my friend asked me.
"Sure," I got up and headed for the kitchen as she went to the bathroom. I thought it would be a good idea to have a glass of milk with some chocolate chip cookies my mother made before she left to go pick up my brother from the airport. I got a plate from the cabinet and went over to the tray of cookies that where out on the table cooling. Luckily they were still warm. Who doesn't like a warm chocolate chip cookie? After that was done I quickly filled two crystal cups with milk and brought it out to the parlor.
As soon as I sent down the cookies and milk I heard an ear shattering shriek. "Misun look out!" I heard my friend yell. I quickly turned around and saw a glimpse of my friend far away, staring wide eyed at someone behind me holding a knife.
Next thing I knew I felt a horrible pain in my stomach and chest. I was stabbed multiple times by whoever I guess broke into my house after my mother left and before I got home.
My body went limp from blood loss. A pool of blood surrounded me. I felt cold and wanted to sleep. What did I do to deserve this? I thought and I heard my friend screaming her lungs out.
"Sorry..." was the last word that escaped my mouth even though I did nothing wrong.
