"Hey class." Teacher Lee smiled. "Seohyun have you taken the attendance?"

Seohyun nodded and she passed the class list to the teacher. He smiled and nodded. "Okay as you know we're going to choose new students to be on that huge poster in front of the school, and I'm sure quite a few of you will be coming from this class." he eyed the Infinite boys.

"And so, write down a guy and a girl that you want to vote for and pass it to the front." Teacher Lee told them. "Remember to fold the paper in half so people can't see who your choices are." he reminded.

"And remember to...." Teacher Lee's eyes widened as he finally noticed Jaekyung. He grabbed the class list and blinked several times. "Uh do we have a new student today?"

L bit back a smile and glanced at Jaekyung, marveling at the way her fair cheeks flooded red so quickly. Sunggyu laughed and raised his hand. "Seongsaengnim, that's Jaekyung."

"Jaekyung?" Teacher Jung took off his glasses and blinked. "Wow. Wow. Jaekyung you look pretty different today."

Jaekyung reddened even more and she bit her lip. "In a good way of course." Teacher Jung continued. "And I read that essay of yours Myungsoo showed me. Incredibly well written I must say."

Jaekyung looked over at L and saw him give her a small smile. Her heart skipped.

"Anyway ahem." Teacher Lee cleared his throat. "Write the names and pass it to the front. I'll give everyone five minutes."

The students began passing small pieces of paper for them to write their choices in and began tapping their chin as they thought of who should represent the school in the front door poster.

Even though Jaekyung had her new look and everyone was simply awed by her beauty, most people still wrote Chaekyung's name instead. Not because they thought she was prettier, but because they wanted to choose L and since you chose him you should choose the girlfriend, right?

Sungyeol wrote Jaekyung's name and himself (hey it was anonymous after all) and Woohyun wrote Yoomi and himself. Oh these two.

The rest of the Infinite boys wrote Jaekyung since they were closer to the elder Lee sister and liked her more, and their guy choices were varied. L didn't hesitate as he wrote down Jaekyung's name and he tapped his chin as he tried to pick the guy.

He would have chosen Sungyeol usually, but seeing how Sungyeol had slung his arm so affectionately around Jaekyung's shoulders just moments ago, L tossed Sungyeol's name out of his list without a second's thought.

He looked around at his friends and imagined everyone of them in the front door poster with Jaekyung. And he couldn't help wincing everytime.

His heart gave a cringe just imagining her with some other guy and he had this fierce possessiveness that surged within him when he thought so. He his lips. There was only one guy he could accept, who stood beside Jaekyung.

And that was himself.

L shook his head to clear his thoughts. *You need to sleep, L. You're going bonkers.* he swallowed. He stared at the piece of paper which only had Jaekyung's name written on it.

His hand shivered as he almost wrote "M" underneath her name. He would have gotten to the "Y" before he crossed it out and shook his head. "I'll just submit two votes of Jaekyung." he mumbled. "That's it."

Jaekyung on the other hand didn't have much of a problem selecting the two.

She wrote Chaekyung and L's name without thinking and passed it up. When she finally realized what she did, she realized she didn't really like it. This act of sending L to Chaekyung, she was growing tired and weary of it.

And she didn't like it.

She wondered why she felt pain when Chaekyung referred to L affectionately or when Chaekyung grabbed onto L's arm. There was something dreadfully wrong with her wasn't there.

But as Jaekyung looked over to L as he furrowed his brows, trying to figure who's name to write on the darn slip of paper, she couldn't help but wonder who's name he had written for the girl.

And she couldn't help but hope it was hers.

"Hey Jaekyung, who's name did you write for the face of the poster?" Junki smiled as he sat on Jaekyung's table.

Jaekyung did a double take at him and she looked absolutely surprised that he was talking to her. In a manner that was far from rude, in fact really friendly.

"You talking to me?" she pointed to herself.

Junki laughed and pinched her cheeks. "Aigoo you're so cute Jaekyung, of course I'm talking to you. Any other Jaekyungs around?" he teased.

Jaekyung tore herself away from his touch and couldn't help but shudder. This was getting creepy. This guy positively hated her! The way he was acting was absolutely freaky!

"So who did you choose for the fact of the poster, Jaekyung?" Junki asked again. "I hope you chose me, Jaekyung. Because I chose you." he winked at her.

Jaekyung wanted to puke.

"I chose Myungsoo and Chaekyung." Jaekyung muttered, hoping that if she answered his question he would stop harrassing her.

"Ah." Junki nodded. "Your sister and her boyfriend huh?" Jaekyung unconsciously winced at the boyfriend reference. "Well I just wanted to know who you voted for, Jaekyung. I hope we can be friends."

Jaekyung coughed suddenly, choking on her own saliva. She grabbed for her water bottle blindly and Junki passed it to her kindly. Jaekyung choked even more because of his kind act and she drank her water quickly, gulping half the bottle at a go.

She opened her eyes to see Junki smiling at her, amused. "You sound surprised I want to be friends. I can imagine, I wasn't too friendly to you before."

*Wasn't too friendly? You were downright mean!* Jaekyung huffed in her mind, patting her own chest.

"But I know I was wrong and I want to change things." Junki beamed at her. "We can be friends right? I mean friends for now...maybe something more in the future?" he winked again.

"Yah!"

Jaekyung looked up and nearly fainted in relief when she saw that L had returned with the rest of the Infinite boys from the cafeteria. She wasn't prepared to face the crowd hence she ate in the classroom, but L made her promise to go to the cafeteria with them the next day.

L was positively fuming when he saw Junki sitting on Jaekyung's table again. He glared at Junki fiercely and stood in front of Jaekyung. "What are you doing? Harrassing her again?" he snarled.

"No way. I'm just talking to my new friend, L. Chill." Junki rolled his eyes.

L's eyes rounded and he looked at Jaekyung. "Friends?" he mouthed. Jaekyung made a face and L understood that all these were against Jaekyung's will.

"Okay. Now will you give her back to me because as her older friend, we have things to talk about." L jerked his head to the side and gestured for Junki to leave.

Junki got off the table reluctantly but he didn't forget to send Jaekyung another wink. "Talk to you later Jaekyung!"

Jaekyung shuddered. "I hope never." she muttered under her breath. L chuckled softly and ruffled her hair. "That guy's making a move on you now that you look prettier. Promise me you won't get too close to him?"

"You didn't even need to ask." Jaekyung mumbled, wrinkling her nose. "I hate that guy."

Woohyun had been watching Jaekyung and L's interactions the entire day and he decided that he needed to do something about it. He tried to see things from Jaekyung's point of view and realized that the girl could positively like L back.

THIS WAS BAD.

And so Woohyun gathered all of them at the pub at 8pm in the evening and waited for L to arrive. "What's the occasion hyung?" Sungjong asked curiously. "Why are we all gathered here today?"

Woohyun was looking at the entrance the whole time. "I have some things to clarify." he answered vaguely. "Let's wait for L to come before we begin."

Hoya looked at Sunggyu and the leader shrugged, not knowing what was happening.

L finally arrived some time later, panting. "I'm sorry. I went to the bookstore with Jaekyung and we kind of lost track of time." he ordered a sparkling juice. "So, what's the agenda for today?"

Woohyun winced at Jaekyung's name and knew more than ever that his suspicions were right. "There are some things I want to ask you, L and I think we should do this as the whole of Infinite since we kind of forced you into this thing."

Everyone became silent at Woohyun's tone. Woohyun sounded unnaturally serious and for once, he really looked as if there was something bothering him in contrast to the happy go lucky guy he always was.

"What thing?" L asked hesitantly, not knowing where this was going.

Woohyun looked at L seriously. "I don't want you to take offense for anything I'm going to say this evening. And I want you to answer everything I'm going to ask honestly. Please?"

L laughed nervously. "Hyung, you're behaving weirdly."

"Yeah Woohyun, what's going on?" Sunggyu asked, frowning.

Woohyun sighed and raked his fingers through his hair. "L, do you love Chaekyung?"

L's eyes widened and he blinked at Woohyun. "What?" Woohyun stared right back without flinching. "Do you love Chaekyung?"

"Wow that was pretty direct huh." Sungyeol muttered. "Total arrow shot right there."

L looked around uncomfortably. "I thought I told you guys before I wasn't sure...about everything in this relationship with her." he answered honestly. "I know she's pretty but I don't know what I feel for her. I couldn't even kiss her when I forced myself to."

The Infinite boys nodded.

"And what about Jaekyung?" Woohyun asked. "What do you feel about her?"

L looked even more surprised than the first question. "Jaekyung? Why are we talking about her?"

"Yeah Woohyun, why?" Dongwoo asked, frowning.

Woohyun stared at L. "Because I realize that you may have more affections for Jaekyung than her sister. Because I realize that we Infinite might have made a mistake in the beginning when we kind of forced you into the relationship with Chaekyung. Because as a hyung, I want you to be happy, L. And what I'm seeing now is that special smile of yours that only appears when Jaekyung is there, not your girlfriend. And this is wrong."

"Please answer me honestly, do you love Jaekyung?" he repeated.

L stared at his friends who were waiting patiently for his answer. Did he love Jaekyung? Did he?

He couldn't deny that he thought Jaekyung was attractive.

She had her flaws; the way she was too pessimistic about everything around her, the way she cared too much for her sister, the way she had so many secrets in her life...

And he liked everything about those too. He liked her smiles, he liked her obstinate nature. He liked it when she fought back for something she didn't feel was right even though she had been a soft spoken nerd. He liked it when she battled him with words in their witty banter.

He liked spending time with her. He would miss her when she wasn't around.

He thought about her. Dreamed even.

Was that normal? Was that love?

He would do anything just to see her smile, he would be bothered when she wasn't happy. He would feel like he was torn inside when he saw her cry.

Was that love?

"I...I'm not sure." L swallowed. "I think...I think I might be attracted to her but I'm not sure what this all is." he finally admitted to himself.

Yes, he was attracted to her. Hell yes.

Woohyun let out a deep breath. He had expected that. "I'm not going to tell you what to do this time, L." he muttered. "And any Infinite member that dares to give you advice with earn a smack on the head from me. Because we obviously aren't the best of the love advisors."

Woohyun looked at L. "Your first relationship isn't going well, and it might be due to us. I don't want to spoil anything anymore, because I have a feeling this girl might be the right one instead. I'm not going to make anymore stands, you're on your own now. Whoever you choose, you have to make the decision yourself.

Woohyun patted L's shoulder. "I'm just telling you to consider this possibility, that you might love someone other than your girlfriend. And once you realize you really do love someone else, end the relationship as quickly as possible. That's the right thing to do."

L stared, swallowing hard.

Did he love Jaekyung? Did he? What if he didn't and he made the mistake like with Chaekyung again? What if...?
