Ron kept his promise, in the morning he came to visit Tavia and see how she was doing. Tavia

came and answer the door and  was met by a happy face of Ron “ how are you feeling

today, better?” and entered holding a plastic bag “ I have bought you some food, I bet you

haven’t been on the supermarket for a while” and put the things into the fridge.

Feeling uncomfortable with the constantly surveillance in the apartment “ I’m feeling much better

today, I can go back to work right away”

“silly, even if you feel better you should at least stay home today and come to work tomorrow

instead. We are not out of staff” Ron said with a sweet smile

Tavia nodded “ ok, then I will listen to my boss and stay home for one more day. But can we go

out to eat something since I have been home like forever”

Tavia seating on the couch not really knowing what to do after the breakfast she had with Ron and got a call from Catherine “hey are you board?”

Tavia looked in to the camera and smiled weakly " you could tell by the look"

“of course, what are you thinking?” Catherine asked

Tavia shook her head lightly “ I don’t know, it’s Ron. I don’t know what I should do”

“well, what I can see he really cares about you. And that is great. If he trust you, you can gather more information” Catherine said with happiness

Tavia nodded “ yeah I know” and switch off the mic “probably that’s my biggest concern”

Bosco came in and check if everything was right with Tavia “ is everything fine with her?”

Catherine shook her head “ I doubt that, Ron came by”

That caught Bosco’s attention “ did something happen”

Catherine shook her head “ no, it’s just that I got a bad feeling, I think Tavia is starting to have doubts”

Bosco patted on Catherine’s shoulder “ don’t worry, I’m sure Tavia know what she is doing. But I will have a talk with her to make sure everything is under control”

Fung’s bar

Joel walked into the office and found Ray laying on the couch “ what are you thinking about”

“nothing” Ray answered and get up “ so is there any movements from Choi Longs side?”

Joel shook his head “ nothing unusual, seems like Zhi wah settle the issue with Oscar quite well. I don’t know exactly what she did. But Oscar is handling his business like usual and nothing seems to have changed in Choi Long”

Ray chuckle “ nothing unusual you said, I would say it’s impressive she could handle the situation so well and no harm on Oscar. I have expected Oscar to be dead or near dead right now”

Joel nodded in agreement and went to the minibar to pour two glass of whisky “ so what are we going to do? You still want to investigate?”

“I just want to make sure of something, if what Michael said was true then who fired at that police officer. Why would the police work with Charm, if she was behind all this”

Joel looked at Ray “ Charm? you still haven’t changed. I don’t think I ever have heard anyone calling her by that name. But you are right about one thing. There must have been a third part” and handed the glass to Ray “ just don’t forget to spend some time of your for other things then just thinking about this ok?”

Ray looked at  Joel “ you think I’m just concerned about Michael? I’m going to mainland the day after tomorrow. I expect you coming with me”

Joel looks surprised “ you never mentioned anything to me, and now you expecting me to accompany you? how long will we be away? and who will be in charge of Cheng long when we are gone?”

“many questions, but I have everything under control. I will leave everything to Long sok to handle when we are gone” Ray explained
