A week have gone and everything was going smoothly with Choi Long’s business and no one have questioning Oscar since the event. It was all over and Charm could go back to business and concentrate on things that was undone.

Derek knocked on the door before entering “ I have take contact with Hak Hong they will have time to meet us next month. They will send me the details of the meeting later on”

“ I never need to worry when you are concerned. Just tell me some day beforehand so I can make arrangement for KLC” Charm said

Kenny came in just minutes later “ Zhi wah you looked for me”

“yeah, I just wanted to tell you that I, Derek and Jade will be going to mainland to meet up Hak Hong. So I will leave Choi Long to you, you can take decision without asking me. If there are something that really needs me to deal with then leave it till I’m back from the trip.”

Tavia have been calling in for ill and haven’t gone to work for couple of days she know that this won’t work for so long but she really needed time to think things over how shall she handle the situation between her and Ron. While she was over the situation the doorbell rang. Tavia went to the door and to her surprise Ron was standing just outside her apartment, with hesitation she opened the door for him “ how are you feeling? I heard from the other workers that you have been ill” and felt her forehead  Tavia removed his hand “ I’m ok, I think I have catch a cold and have had some headache “

Ron nodded “have you seen the doctor yet? Shall I take you to one? I know a doctor who are really good”

Tavia shook her head “ no there are no need, I will be ok. I actually feel much better today. I will be fine with one more day off. If my boss will allow me” she said the last with a wink

“of course I will let you rest, I’m not that hard hearted. Have you eaten yet?”

Tavia shook her head “ I’m not hungry” and  her stomach rumbled  “ are you sure you are not hungry?” Ron said with smile “ come on, get dressed and I show you some great place”

Ray knocked on the door before entering his fathers study, Paul was standing in front of the window “ is everything settled with Michael and his family?” he asked without facing Ray

“ I believe in Michael and I promised him I will take good care of his family until he is back” said Ray and took a seat on the couch next to the door

Paul turned around “ how can you trust him after what have happen, what will the other followers think of you? I thought you would have made a smarter decision than what you have made”

“If I have shoosed the way you thought off, it will lead to disaster. Michael have been following Cheng long over a decade he have showed loyalty all these year. Even Joel can see this is a set up by Choi Long. How can you not see it?” Ray defended

Paul walked up to Ray “ You say it’s a set up by Choi Long, in which way? Have you any evidence”

“I don’t have any evidence but something is telling me it’s  not as easy as it looks likes. I don’t know how they could have manage it but somewhat they did” Ray explained

Paul shook his head with disagreement “ I know that you believe in Michael but one day you need to face the truth. I also hope that Michael never betrayed Cheng Long but at the moment nothing can convince me. You are the head of Cheng Long you have the responsibility and you had to show your followers what’s accepted and not”

Ray nodded “ I know what kind of responsibility I have and the meaning of the position I have. I will lead and handle things in my way. You should trust your son”

Paul didn’t say anything after that comment just patted Ray on the shoulder and left Ray in the room alone.

Ron drove Tavia home after they got something to eat “ you should come out and take some fresh air and not just hide yourself inside, it’s no good for you.”

Tavia nodded and didn’t argue “ wow I think this is the first time you obeyed” Ron joked

Ron followed Tavia to her door “ Have some pleasant rest tonight and I will pay you a visit tomorrow” and kissed her goodbye

With a heavy heart she went in and laid down on the couch, what shall I do? she thought. She was aware of her feelings for Ron, it grew stronger for each day that went by.
