Bosco parked the car in the back of the abandoned house and turned off the engine when Tav hugged him from the side. Bosco get surprised by the sudden move and just his hand over her shoulder “ it's ok now, you don't need to worry” he comforted

Tav shook her head lightly while resting her head on his chest “ Never have I imagine that I would be chased by triad members. I don't know if I can do this any more, Ron nearly get killed because of protected me and even so I can be calm and call Sheh zhi wah to get near her”

Bosco understood the dilemma she was in “ I understand but remind you one thing that you are a cop and he is a triad member, this time it was him who get hurt but if you think in the other way he is doing the same thing to other people, you are just doing the right thing”

Tav nodded even if she didn't agree with Bosco she knew she was a cop and Ron was a triad member but never have she seen the cruel side of him, after all he protected her with his own life. But not to let Bosco worried she smiled lightly” yeah you are right I shouldn't think to much about it” and sat up

Charm sat in her office in silent and waited for Kenny and Derek to arrive.

Jade knocked on the door and entered with Kenny and Derek followed behind “ have something happen? You called in so urgent” Derek asked

Charm nodded her head “ Yes, Ron just get attacked and are now in the hospital, I have told some of my men to look after him.”

“is it serious? Have you told Git sok yet?” Jade asked

Charm shook her head lightly “ He is ok now after the operation, I haven't planed to call Git sok. I don't want him to be worried after all he have retried and I don't want him to get involved with the triad problems”

“ have you any idea who is behind this?” Kenny asked

“ I called because I want you to check if Michael have enlisted new member, according to Oscar it was a bunch of youngster who did it” said Charm with bitterness

“Oscar? Was he also there?” Derek asked

“Yeah he coincidently where there and wanted to help out but ended up being beaten up by the youngster, fortunately the cops was there in time so he didn't got serious injured” Charm explained

“ok, I will have an eye on Michael and check on Cheng Long and see if I can find anything” said Kenny

“ good, but be discrete I don't want anyone to know this beside us especially Git sok and grandpah” ordered Charm

“But sooner or later Git sok will wonder where Ron is, what shall we say?” Jade asked

“ I will tell Git sok that I have send Ron a mission and he won't be back until one week or two” explained Charm

“Don't worry we know how to handle it” said Derek before he leaved the room with Kenny

Derek seated in the driving seat when Kenny got into the passenger seat “ don't you find it odd that Oscar was in the same place when this happen? And that zhi wah doesn't suspect anything?”

Kenny smirked “ you also find it odd? Something is telling me that zhi wah is hiding something” and fasten his seatbelt

“ I wonder what it is? But if she doesn't want to say it we can't do anything about it. Just hope that is nothing too serious” said Derek and drove off

Charm knocked before she entered “ how is you feeling today?” she asked

Ron looked up and tried to sat up but had a hard time since his left hand was plastered and the pain from the broken ribs was eating him up. Charm quickly walked up and helped him “ you shouldn't force yourself just lay down and rest” she demanded

“I'm ok, just that I'm a bit clumsy with this hand” said Ron and lifted it and tried to move

“ the doctor said it will take at least a week before you recover, so please be a good patient and don't force yourself” said Charm with concern

Ron nodded with a smile“ yes, I will listen to you and won't force myself. How is Oscar doing?”

Charms expression changed a bit but Ron didn't notice “ he is just fine, just get some scratches. He was more fortune than you”

“ Lucky he didn't get all beat up like me” Ron said still with a smile on his face

“ do you suspect anyone being behind this?” Charm asked

Ron shook his head “ I don't know, the only one I can think of is Michael but I find it rare that he waited for so long, I mean he could have strike long ago why wait till now? It can also be that they just took the wrong guy they didn't specifically called out my name”

Charm nodded “ ok, rest and don't think of it any more. I will handle it and I will find out who it's behind this by the way I haven't told git sok about this yet I wanted to hear with you what you wanted? If you don't want him to worry I will tell him that I have send you on a mission and you won't be back until weeks otherwise I will tell him you are here”

“don't tell him, I have already made him worried to much about me” said Ron

Charm nodded and patted his shoulder before she leaved.

Oscar sat in his office and took a sip from the brandy when his cellphone started to vibrate “ Hey! If you didn't call I would have called you. Thanks for helping me”

“HAHA, you are welcome. So how is your injuries I told them to not punch to hard but still it should look real” said Michael on the other side of the line

Oscar looked at his wrapped hand and smiled “ no worries it was just few stings nothing that will take long to heal compare to Ron”

“ Do you think after this zhi wah will starting to use you? I mean when Ron is fine she might dis you again?” Michael reminded

“I have though of that too, so this time it will just be a warning if this doesn't change a thing I want to see him in the mortuary and not inside a patient rooms.” Oscar said with hatred

“well just tell me when you need my help, but don't forget when you have her trust to share some of your fortune to me” Michael said before he hang up

Oscar put his phone back to the table and smirked “ do you really think I will share anything to you if I get what I want?”

A knock stopped him and one of his men opened the door and informed “ Oscar gah, zhi wah djeh is here” and Charm entered the room “ I though you would be home and rest in couple off days, why working so hard?” she said and took a seat in front of the office table

“Ha? I'm not so serious hurt. Now when Ron is like this you probably have a lot to look after if I also stay home and rest you will have it very heavy” Oscar explained

“ even if you find yourself not too seriously injured you shouldn't drink brandy for awhile it won't do any good to your wounds” Charm said and hinted at the empty glass on the table

Oscar smiled awkwardly “ I will stop it”

“good, well I just wanted pass by and see how you was also to inform you that I don't want anyone beside us to know that Ron get attacked you understand?” Charm said with a serious tone

Oscar nodded in understanding “ I promise I won't let any words slip out from my mouth”
